were here to talk about boxing...and use reason....not to mention who mentions what fighters the most....you literally have guys with ggg in their usernames......add something of note

 

everytime ward is mentioned as "retired" or "irrelevant" or a guy that "fights only in court" its by a guy that slurps ggg...ggg being a guy with a terrible resume...0 notable wins.....so he can be mentioned.......ggg fans have gone to great lengths to talk ward down when they are defending gggs duck of him.....soon ward will make gggs career look very small

 

Step in the right direction for Ward. Interesting to see how he looks against a proper 175 opponent.

 

I'm fine with this fight. I don't have double standards like so many posters on this forum. Compared to Wards last 4 attempted opponents, Barrera looks like prime SRR. I think Barrera will force Ward to show all his skills and I doubt we see his one-shot and clinch style. Should be fun.

 

Yep, Ward certainly deserves a lot of the **** he gets but you can't knock this one. While there will always be trolls on both sides I think a lot of it stems from genuine boxing fans who don't want to see a top top fighter waste his talent.

 

Kovalev had not yet signed his contract with HBO when Haymon first proposed the 50:50 split.

He didn't even deserve it when Haymon made that proposal, after all Stevenson is the cash cow.
