    This, despite the fact that Barrera was talking a big game on Twiiter no more than six hours ago, about being ready for the Ward fight.

    So, is Barrera genuinely ducking Ward? Oris it just down to Barrera and his team believing Ward was lowballing?

    Paul Smith's purse for fighting Andre Ward was $225k.

    Right about now, Andre Ward is probably thumbing through his rolodex in search of the name "Bika, Sakio". :good

    How is it possible to out price yourself vs ward ? you're only fighting him for his name, you know damn well no money is there. Neither of these 2 can call anything. Ward picking Oakland means should be 50/50 split

    And yet, consensus number 2 in the Light-heavyweight division, Adonis Stevenson, fought Bika at 175. Never say never.

    It would be funny if it wasn't so depressing ... and, should the Barrera and / or the Kovalev fight not come to fruition, Ward vs Bika has a better than average chance of coming to fruition.

    You best get back in the cage, my man. And close the door behind you while you're at it.
