i cant see it doing more than 20K especially as we know the hometown fighter really doesn't have a prayer, its O2 at best, but GGG woldnt come here unless it was a superfight at wembley such as when GGG Vs Froch was mooted
Not enough interest in BJS to sell the fight to the UK fans. Casual fans probably don't know who GGG is. GGG is without a doubt the draw in this fight and it will be held in the states if they do meet. BJS is a credible opponent for GGG so it might even make PPV.
No chance if BJS was under Matchroom then yea could see a stadium fight not wembley or Old Trafford though. under ****** BJS needs to go to States fight Cotto then try and make the GGG fight in the uk
As someone mentioned if it was a Matchroom fight I'd say definitely but W arren's fighters don't get any real exposure so there's no chance of the general public getting whipped into a frenzy as they do for Matchroom events when SSN can big them up 24/7. Would love to see the fight in Britain though, I'd certainly travel for it.
Yes I think it would sell. GGG may not be too well known outside of the boxing scene but whenever a major boxer fights abroad it attracts many casuals as well as hardcore fans and draws bigger crowds than they often would at home where they fight more often, probably because people may think if I dont see them live this time I possibly never will?
