Yea..thats cos of your experience..you saw some talent there..
.i see why you got interested in him.hes gotta good start..good starting point-hope he continues on right track..
    well schooled fighter.
..maybe i can get in touch with you in few months..so you can see my guys.
Its very true what you said..there arent very good trainers nowadays..sometimes i watch a fight just to listen to trainers between rounds..honestly--most of times the commentators are more in "tune" with whats going on in the ring--than trainers.

Question. How often does your guy get knocked out in the gym in a camp leading up to a fight, and if it happens, does his fight day performance usually disappoint?

I have never had it happen to one of my guys, I am not saying it can't happen. My guys spar with 16oz gloves cos they punch pretty good.
I would think if a guy got ko'd in the gym, and it depends on the guy and his team, what the next move would be. I would think they would give him a break from sparring and watch him closely. Some guys would want to get back on the horse, right away. Other guys it would affect them mentally. I myself wouldn't want them to jump back in. It also depends on how and why he got ko'd, was it a fluke? Was he getting hammered? Is it cos he's chinny? Could he have suffered a concussion? These are questions for the guys team to answer.

Demps. Why is it that Ricardo 'Finito' lopez..being such a great fighter (flyweight)..51 wins,38 KO's..no losses ..never got the recognition ,$,or fame..like other great smaller fighters?-Carbajal..'Chiquita'Gonzales..ect.?.what happened there?
Is it cos his manager mainly focused on him fighting in Mexico?
He was a great solid fighter-but few people know about him.
I could be wrong, but i dont think he got close to earning close to 1 mil..in any of his fights..eventhough he was an awesome champ (to me in the top 15 of all time greats)..undefeated --defended his WBC belt 21 times!.WBA..WBO
,and also IBF champ before retiring.

"Finito", who I spent time with in Nacho's gym was his own manager. He had a sports agent who negotiated his deals.
"Finito", was the boss of his career. His promoter was Don King, his trainer was Nacho Beristain. He was paid very well for those times 500k a pop. "Finito", was always in the gym fight or no fight. I never heard anybody pop the speed bag like he did, he would throw a left hook and the sound it made sounded like a loud BOOM! A funny thing, to get ready for the title fights he used local kids, a 14yr old and a 1-2 guy.

Thats awesome being in Nacho's gym..and with 'Finito"Lopez..
..so in your opinion.did he do a good job managing himself?..or could he Have gotten more $ and fame with an experienced manager..shouldnt he have gotten paid more $.?..closer to 1 mil?
    Also,what's the difference between a sports agent.and a manager?
Why would he want to train with a 14 yr. Old and a 1-2 guy? Doesnt make alot of sense, did you ever know his reason behind that?
    Thanks.

Demps i think i asked you this before but i went back and couldnt find youre answer..
    How is it that some fighters..Jeff fenech..Leon Spinks..Davey Moore.ect.
Got a shot at the Championship title
After only 6 or 8 professional fights!!??
While others cant even get a shot at it after more than 20 fights ?
I know Spinks got a gold at the Olympics but i dont think THAT was the reason why he got an opportunity so fast.
Is it cos they move up the ranks by winning in convincing manner against great opponents.?.great management?..or might there had been something else going on? 😷
Ijust dont understand how it is possible to get a title fight with so few fights..how were they able to convince the IBF.. WBC.. ect.
To give them a shot?..Spinks wasnt even that great--IMO.(eventhough he did beat an ageing Ali)
    Thanks for all your answers.

    Yes..great skill!had not seen him fight-Inoue is
Great fighter!..'Chocolatito' Gonzales is about the only one that MIGHT give him a fight-IF he can take him to later rnds(not sure if they're in same weight)
..so,if a fighter has overwhelming skill/talent..would you say its better to put him in the fast lane instead of taking time and choosing his oponents?..or its better to take your time-no matter the skill level.
..eventhough it would be ALOT harder i think,to do what Inoue did- at a heavier weight category (cos alot more competition)..Inoue showed that
-IT IS- possibl(if you got what it takes)to get a title fight after only a few fights..thats awesome.!
I think Jeff Fenech also diserved it.
