    Jesus Chavez - Sirimongkol Singmanasak
    https://youtu.be/YYaKtvzKwyU
In order for us to get the shot we had to agree to fight Eric Morales next, if we won the title. But that's another story, it's also on youtube

Wow!..had not seen that fight-what a night that had to be,fighting for title and winning in home town-doesnt get much better..wish i couldve been there.
..so Eric Morales was also a champ at that time?.in diff organization?
Just curious-how much did Chavez take that night?..i know his great payday was against E.Morales.
Great fight! especially towards later rnds!..
.Jesus was shaking his right arm at times..did he have any injuries before the fight? Thnx

Morales was moving up from '26pds
    He made a buck fifty
Jesus Had operations on both shoulders and both knees plus a torn bicep all those injury's were after he won the championship.
He lost to Eric cos of a torn rotor cuff right shoulder, fighters sometimes keep pain to themselves I believe this was the case in this fight. He just didn't know how bad it was. He told me after the Eric that that pain was terrible that he had never felt that pain in his life. Had he had two hands he would have beaten Eric. As it was he endured 10plus rds with that shoulder injury. Jesus had a pair believe me.

Yes ALOT of heart,i admire that guy
I also think he could've beat Eric
    Maybe stopped on cuts.
..i did not agree with Ronnie, on stopping the fight when Jesus fought Mayweather-
Jesus was getting hit..but no power on Mayweathers punches-it just looked bad-.Jesus has alot more power than Maywh..one solid punch wouldve put Mayw..in ALOT of problms--IMO,i think Ronnie shouldve let Jesus gone -ALL OUT -win or loose.-.i could see Ronnie stopping it -IF Jesus was getting hit with big power shots..just IMO.
Whats your take on that..you where ok with the stoppage? How did you see the fight?

This fight is a sore point with me, I believe that stop in the corner was wrong and the corner advice was wrong. I will leave it there, but when you take into consideration that Jesus went 10 1/2 rds with a harder puncher like Eric, with the pain he endured from a torn rotor cuff, fighting back with only his left, makes you wonder, wtf!? But without proof you keep this to yourself. Believe me everybody else on the team was not happy.

Awesome.!were in same page..Thats right!.im glad im not the only one that thinks that..i always thought Jesus couldve continued ..BUT.
    .with different strategy
    .after 6 rnd's
    ..it had to be--
    ALL OUT.
Jesus was never hurt.!(im almost sure Jesus was not happy also ,with stoppage) i wish that fight could've gone on..Jesus going all out..
Im with you!-i dont think that fight shoulve been stopped.
.all Jesus needed was advise in his corner to go all out
    .with his hardest punches.
But,in that moment-i think Ronnie probbly thought that Jesus was in danger of serious damage.
.was Richard lord also in corner for that fight?..wats his opinion on that

Extremely unhappy, Ronnie was in charge of the corner his advice in the corner left a lot to be desired. "Do you want me to stop the fight!?!", should have turned into something that would've fired up Jesus. When I went into the corner after the fight, I didn't know why they stopped it , and didn't know why Richard was so ****ed, not until I saw the fight on HBO, was I aware that Ronnie had stopped it and how.

YES..I THINK YOU WERE 100% CORRECT.

-Can you give us an idea of how much a fighter should be making? (rule of thmb-i know it depends on alot)-theres info in the internet, but most come from people that had read it elsewhere, nothing like getting info from a person living it.
    ..Say,middleweight-eight round fights?
    middleweight ranked say #5 vs
    Middleweight ranked #1 ?
What is more or less the gap difference? (In $ )
Cos i imagine lightweights and smaller fighters get paid less?(before champion status)
    And heavyweights the most?
Thanks for your great clear answers!
