I see the two of them exchanging words on twitter, would be a great fight if it happens at some point this year. If Whyte's shoulder is fully covered then I could see him winning by KO in late rounds.

Would like to know the full story with the shoulder. I think he needed surgery before the Femi fight.

Great fight which does not need a belt

However it would give the English title a massive boost

People are mocking him for mentioning the shoulder but in all fairness, it appears to me that his shoulder was ****ed prior to the Minto fight and he shouldn't have gone ahead with the AJ fight.... but as he said he would 100% turn up he kept to his word.

I also don't believe he mentioned it directly after the fight it was only when he began getting questioned about it, then off he went to have surgery.

Now I don't believe he'd have beaten AJ, but he deserves some credit for not pulling out and putting up a good fight despite the injury.

If chisora wins agisnt helenius he has bigger paydays in front of him than whyte, but if chisora lost the rematch then he should fight whyte

This is a fight I wanna see. Two game and tough fighters. I think an on top form chisora would edge a war the thing is I think if it happened right now whyte has slightly more hunger so now would edge towards him

A rematch would definitely tell us where Chisora is at nowadays.

He had his pants pulled down by the judges against Helenius a few years back, he definitely won that fight.

Since then (2011), Helenius has only fought 5 times and I don't think he's got a great deal better... Chisora on the other hand has had 13 outings.

To be fair to Chisora he has kept busy and has looked OK in his last three fights- he does need to get south of 240 to be at his best however. I don't rate Helenius at all so I'd say that Chisora has a decent chance of beating him.

As for Chisora/Whyte- great fight, but if you are Chisora and European champion why not pursue the IBF route?

This defo, but how long is DW out after the surgery? I don't see Whyte coming back for months and it won't be against a name like DC when he does, more likely a De Mori type guy.

I think whyte will target ibf route. ...id he signs with a big promoter he will likely get fast tracked

Id really like to see this fight although im not sure itll happen this yr due to whytes shoulder inj.
Similar fighters with whyte been a tad cruder and d.c having a slightly beeter defence.

Think it's still held by john mcdermott who has been inactive for a few years.
