Excellent show being staged in Glasgow 19th March headlined by Willie Limmond and Lewis Ritson Limmond will fight for the WBC Siilver interim title and Lewis Ritson will fight for the vacant WBC world Youth Lightweight Title Also on the bill will be two exceptional Mexicans, dubbed "the new Barrera" Olivier Quinalita is 10-0 (7ko) and Paul Venezula a very big punching light middle Also coming with the Mexicans is Margaritto who fought Cotto twice. Scottish pride will be at stake when Craig Kelly fights Ally Black for the Scottish Light welter title in what should be a great toe to toe fight Kieron Smith will also be on the undercard along with another few as yet to be named fighters
yes that what we have been told, ultimately win this the full silver the hopefully Willie can fight for the full title
How you see this one going mate? Craig Kelly will be a massive Light Welter, he was a strong Welterweight!! Ally Black is a decent boxer that you trained for a spell. So who you got?
I genuinely think it's a 50/50 Ally can bang hard has you know but Craig has a good workrate and as you say will be very big on the night, will the weight be to much to Mae though? It's one of those ones
Totally agree with the weight issue, Craig has great fitness and sometimes when you have taken too much out of your body then your fitness can suffer especially in the later rounds! Craig has a great determination that might be a big factor in the fight too!
Billy has the Scottish Light Welterweight title fight been confirmed? I was just messaged by my mate and it seems that Eddie Doyle vs Shaun McShane is on Boxrec boxing for that title?
Not really the same thing but tbh Craig Kelly vs Ally Black should have been for the Scottish Title and the other one for British Challenge belt! I'm not 100% but isn't Shaun McShane from Northern Ireland?
Good luck Billy, an to all Scottish boxers Lived up there for 2 years, great people an lovely country. I always get a shiver when I hear Flower of Scotland, if wasnt Scouse, I would want to be Scottish
They are defo going about things the right way, the last Lock Stock show was well run and if they can start bringing in boxers from Mexico on a regular basis and get them involved in decent fights then it will be something that no one else in Scotland is providing!!
