Most guys turn out not to be world beaters. The fact that both are being tossed in with Mansour before they have their 20th fights shows that at least we're gonna find out early how far they go. Id rather mediocre fighters get tested hard and we find out what they're made of as opposed to waiting 6-7 years and 25 fights before they're shown up
Sounds good to me. There's no reason to keep padding a guys record if he's never going to get better. Might as well toss em into the deep end and see if they can swim...
I had some positive thoughts of Rivas few years ago then his career kind of stalled. What happene with him? Glad he is trying to make noise now.
Rivas is a good prospect, but he should have 1 defeat on his record, because I feel he should have been disqualified against Pettaway. Should be a good fight if this happens, I favor Rivas.
RDS has Russ Amber about every other week, they show every week or so Yvon Michel talking about boxing, plus they keep having on their shows David Lemieux, Jean Pascal, etc.
