Round 1 Haye is waving the jab out, backhanded. De Mori circles to his left, keeping his lead arm down, right fist raised and ready to parry by his chin. Hooks by Haye, alternating left & right, headhunting, throwing from just above the hip. Big lead rights by Haye, driving forward and steering De Mori nearly into a corner. De Mori takes several paces in retreat before lobbing in his own tentative overhand right, pulled halfway as Haye executes a pull-counter 1-2. Big uppercuts on the left ribcage by Haye with the right hand, followed by left hooks and right crosses on the face. De Mori covers up, nose already bloodied, against the ropes. BIG sequence of uppercuts with both hands by Haye, with a minute left in the round. De Mori is out against the ropes, finally keeling over after taking a few more bombs. KO1!
