Eubank gets him out of there in my opinion

Well I dont know about that, pal...I always had CEJ as favourite to beat Spike. I wanted Spike to win - different thing altogether!

CEJ on a close points decision. I like watching Blackwell though he's looked very good in his last couple and would love to see an upset.

So what does Nick have to do to win this fight?
what are his 'Keys to Victory'?

For starters he will have to overcome his usual sloooow start.
He cant afford to let CEJ sweep the first 5-6 rounds. Even if he comes on strong its no good if he leaves it too late and loses on points due to not having time to make up the defecit.

Even worse - If CEJ looks too dominant the ref may even have an excuse for stopping it altogether.

Also the jab is a key weapon if Blackwell uses it to maximum effect. It is a key boxing skill and is one area that he is definitely superior to Eubank, who has a very poor ineffective jab (that when he bothers to use it at all)

Also NB will have to wise up defensively, and be a lot 'cuter' on the inside - as someone said, Spike was getting hit with Eubanks uppercut all night, and this is a punch that Nick is pretty much every bit as open to as Spike. to. He needs to close that loophole pronto or CEJ will have easy work landing uppercuts all night like he did with Spike. Eubank is a light puncher, but everything counts in ;arge amounts as they say.

Blackwell will not give CEJ any time to rest and think (which like his father he likes to do) Blackwell has the better engine, he must stick the jab double jab and vary the attacks on CEJ constantly. I dont think Nicks normal issue of slow starts will be as much an issue as CEJ isnt exactly the fastest of starters especially with his style.

Blackwell needs to be wary of the Uppercuts on the inside though, but unlike Spike he wont be just standing there with his hands down, he`ll be on CEJ case constantly

OK DBE - i must try to check out your yuo-tube channel - its obviously worth a look!
I would love to know what exactly this thing about guys being 'slow starters' is all about.
Instinctively I would think that if you're in an enclosed space with a guy who is trying to punch your head off you would be up to 90 right from the off! But it aint so. An interesting phenomenon!

You're either having bother with your memory or just blatantly lying.

Better engine than JR? really? JR has a ferrari like engine, best in the business, can throw punches for days.

I am surprised by this, Blackwell sure didn't show this engine against Ryder that's for sure

JR started like Usain Bolt against Spike, Blackwell better not start slow against a far more talented fighter like JR or he will have an early bedtime.

    Have you watched JR lately?
Did he throw punches for days against Chudinov and Spike?

Against BJS he had never been 12 rounds, now he's been 12 he's like whats the fuss. Should have started faster but even then he could have nicked it on the cards. It was a close fight.

BJS and Chudinov are levels above Blackwell and Spike is the same level as Blackwell but hits much harder although less skilled.
