Unfortunately Wilder was neither aggressive enough or effective enough tonight, Szpilka was the far more successful one in terms of that criteria.

I had it 4-4 going into the last round. A lot of close rounds and either guy could have been ahead. I think it would have looked better if atleast one of the judges had Szpilka ahead since it was a close fight. All 3 having Wilder up and 2 of them had it 6-2 doesn't look good.

But there's no way in hell Wilder only won TWO ROUNDS (like you scored). Regardless, Wilder won fair and square. That's what's nice about him. You guys got so used to arguing about scorecards with lighter weight fighters. When a guy gets counted out and carried out of the ring on a stretcher ... everyone knows who won. Starting threads complaining about the cards when one guy is so brutally beaten and stopped just comes off as whining. Wilder didn't have a mark on him. Spzilka rarely landed cleanly. On the other hand, Artur was a mess after that fight. Wilder won convincingly. You've got a heavyweight champion who likes to slug it out with everyone and score big KOs. Enjoy it. :hi:
