Wilder has the talent to make fights with overmatched guys feel very close

    Molina - Again, never heard of this guy before Wilder picked him. I thought Wilder would KO him in 1-2. But Molina buzzes Wilder twice, has him out on his feet once, before he gets stopped by the stronger Wilder.

    Dahaupas -- Never heard of this guy. He nicks 3 rounds before he gasses out and Wilder TKOs him

    Szilpka -- Never heard of this guy before fight was announced. Thought he wouldn't last 3 rounds, looked really crude in the videos I saw. Yet he outboxes Wilder for the first half, takes 4 rounds IMO. Then his glass jaw fails him and he gets knocked out.

    All these guys are massively outmatched by Wilder and he should KO them in 1-2 rounds. Yet he goes life and death with them and makes it look like they actually have a chance :rofl:rofl

    You only ever heard of the title holders.

    Ok gotchya, it's hard to know what you're talking about when you don't follow the sport at all

    Average: 10.25 rounds.

    Fury's last four fights:

    4 rounds.
    10 rounds.
    8 rounds.
    12 rounds.

    Average: 8.5 rounds.

    You see what happens when you move up in class... (well at least kind of)...

    I've seen Adamek live in the early 2000s vs. Ulrich at LHW. At the time you were still going to highschool. You're trying to make a "Republic of Poland International heavyweight title fight" between a shot has-been and a club bouncer some sort of must-see fight and a qualification for a shot at a major belt :rofl

    I think the point the thread starter is trying to make is Wilder is fighting poor competition on a consistent basis.

    Your logic is non existent, you're saying they were overmatched but went life and death with wilder, which clearly shows they were not overmatched, so what is your point?

    It makes sense if Wilder isn't half as good as you seem to think he is.

    If Wilder is a legit top 3 HW, then he's supposed to blow these guys away in uncompetitive, one-sided beatdowns. But for some reason that is not happening. To the contrary, the fights appear competitive and Wilder is taking dozens of flush shots, loses a few rounds and gets wobbled here and there.

    Too much logic?
