Looking back on how things turned out Andre Ward should of fought Golovkin. He would of gained a lot of needed exposure. Golovkin would have brought a lot of Mexican and Hispanic TV audience which in turn would have been great for Ward and would have came out of the fight with a W and more fans. Possibly a PPV attraction by now instead of fighting Barrera on Twitter. Just my opinion.

Of course, but he thought it through and came to the conclusion that it's much better to get ko'd by the better fighter the division above you than the division below.

Either ggg or kovalev, ward is getting ko'd badly

Just as easy to say that GGG should fight Canelo at 155.

GGG ain't getting any younger and at this rate he'll end up without that career defining fight or set of fights that is pretty standard for an HoFr or ATG. At least the ones I'm aware of.

No matter how much you lot whinge abou it, Ward will always have his domination of the Super 6 Tourney to hang his hat on.

    Are you nuts? LOL

Why should he accept those terms when he should be getting more money?

Beating Golovkin to a pulp would of secured Ward for muliti future million dollar paydays. He may have also been able to take a large part of the GGG fans. Love or hate as long as they watch him. This is about getting future exposure and along with that comes the big $$$$.

Yeah he would be completely drained at 164, since you idiots say he should be fighting at 175 right?

    What happened to that?

    11 pound drain. :hi:

GGG was the one who refused the fight on equal terms at 168.

    That's a FACT

I'm talking $10-20 million. Without having to wait until 2018.

this was never a serious offer in the first place..if ward said yes they still would have fought lemieux....because ward even at 164 is too risky for them

but this was a surefire way of making sure ward said no and headed to lhw so they wouldnt have to even consider the thought of fighting him

Ward wouldn't have even been able to make 168, let alone 164.

If you think that at 164 Ward would have beat GGG, you're on some serious fantasy trip. Ward has two advantages over Genady: size and dirty in-fighting. In every other department, Genady is superior.

at 168 Ward its a 60-40 for Ward
at 175 its 95-5 for Ward, who is natural light heavyweight.
