Ward wouldn't beat GGG The fakers fought 3 times in over 4 years against sub par opposition. Ward has to EARN!! a big $$$ fight now What he did 5 yrs ago means nothing now
I always thought Ward should have stayed at 168. Coming from an almost 2 year layoff he should of easily made 168. He didn't because he blew himself up to 205 pounds in 2014. If he had stayed in shape 168 would have been no problem and 164 just a week of extra cardio and diet. Easy work. This chess not checkers!
Ward signed with Roc Nation in late November of 2014. But he didn't fight until late June 2015. He needed the 5+ months to drop from 205 pounds down to 172 for Paul Smith.
Okay then why doesn't GGG fight at 155 then. No problem man, extra cardio and diet. He should fight Canelo at 55 then, right? Getting his name out there man!!
Yup more than Paul Smith, Brand and Periban. Plus a sold out MSG. thanks to GGG. Would have put Ward in front of a crowd he's never seen before. 4 pounds let it get away from him!
Um, actually it was 97k. And the man makes as much as Ward does, so your point is MOOT. :deal 10 million? Are you nuts It would be like 4-5 million each.
Floyd became the cash cow after beating the loveable Oscar. And Floyd bent to every one of Oscar's demands. Because TBE knew it would pay off and it did!! Ward had a chance to do the same with the loveable Golovkin. But he let it get away! Wont ever get another chance like that.
Uh... GGG isn't a draw. Stop making him out to be one, he drew 97k. And he won't be fighting on PPV for the foreseeable future. :rofl Comparing the two is ludicrous. May made 26m in his fight vs Oscar Ward and GGG wouldn't make ****. They m ade 2m each in their last fights. GGG should be fighting at 155 :nod
I gotta say, yes. Ward's punching power is insanely good, very underrated, the man gets those stoppages. And more durable, yes. The man is the best in fighter in the game. Durability is his middle name.
Maybe, if he ever KOd someone with one punch and wasn't dropped by Boone and momentarily rocked by Smith.
