Liston had his chance to beat Ali in real life.

I'd sent Joe Louis in to KO Ali.
But I wouldn't bawl him out if he failed to do so.

    I can't really see anyone.
The 2 best possibilities for me are Louis and Tyson.
I just don't know if Louis could get close enough to get himself set.
Tyson was quite nifty on his feet in the early rounds and he may occasionally get close enough to bring his hand speed into play and catch Ali with those rapid fire ferocious combinations.
Patterson apart who gave him a problem or two, Ali didn't have to face anybody who could compete in that department, Tyson with the added power to go with it may just have a chance.

Patterson gave Ali troubles, take it you've only seen their second fight? Ali destroyed him in their first bout.

Tyson. Swarmer devours boxer. Classic style mismatch.

Ali is the better fighter. Tyson is a stylistic kryptonite.

Those were fixed fights imo, and Liston was past prime. '64-'65 Liston was a much different fighter than '59-'60 Liston.

Tyson does. Ali would just not be able to keep him off of him.

Yes I saw the first fight and I'm not saying Patterson had a chance of winning all I said was that he gave Ali a problem or two and I was mainly referring to the second fight.
He got off with some good combinations, I just envisage Tyson getting off with those same combinations with more power giving him a chance especially early in the fight.

Nobody guys... Nobody... The most dangerous would be a 1988 mike tyson. Why? Because he was fast... Very fast Accurate and a great combination puncher

I agree nobody beats him. I don't agree with Tyson being the most dangerous.
