to beat ggg a fighter need to be physically stronger than him. is lara stronger? by far not.

lara is just placeholder for people who discredit ggg. they think ggg has huge problems with guys who are "slick" which is just a synonym for black guys who can move a little bit.

Noone has an easy match against Lara. But Golovkin seems prepared to get very physical in his approach if need be so i think the smaller Lara will have a real bad experience if they fight.

I almost don't blame them.....nobody is demanding that they do....save for a group of us on boxing boards....but in general a lot of people love him and support him blindly....theres no big outcry for him to step it up...and they are making money and hbo is pumping him.....

andre ward made a comment about how if he was saying what ggg did...and their resumes were reversed....and ward dismissed a fight with ggg theyd be killing ward...boxing writers...everyone....yet ggg gets away with it

he doesn't have to show any "skills" he hasn't shown...that's not the point....the point is lara would be the most talented guy he has faced....he would get more props in beating lara than he would almost any other fight, save for canelo, at 154-160

 

Although I do believe Jacobs and Saunders would be better H2H match ups, I'd agree that Lara would be GGG's highest ranked opponent to date.
