Haymon and PBC in trouble?

    I wouldn't be surprised if Haymon is scamming the investors and the fans.

    True. Falling viewership is pretty damning.

    Al's obviously tried to copy the UFC template, without taking into account boxing has a far more established infrastructure than MMA did at the time.

    The only way they could turn it around is to have a ****ton of money to burn in the medium term, coupled with amazing scouting of prospects. You never know he might stumble across Floyd mk ii.

    I honestly think he will walk away from the this venture with 100 million plus in he's own pocket. he gets 10% of the fighters purse and im sure he gets a big wage(considering he can decide how much to pay himself) and is syphoning money off from investors in other respects

    and you know what fair play to him if he is doing this because its very intelligent and a very good scam

    I then think with all the money he takes from investors, when pbc folds he will start up he's own legit promotional outfit using he's own money and run it properly and the purses he's fighters earn will be a lot less when its from he's own pocket

    problem is the big talent coming through these days is from eastern Europe and al is more focused on signing American boxers

    I'd be interested to know what Haymon has to say about paying fighters way above market value. It's impossible he got into the position he is without understanding the basic problem with that.

    Edit; I see Barcham has addressed this. Al is either a genius salesman or has some dirt on the execs at Waddell & Reed

    agreed, I think either waddle and reed are stupid or have a corrupt influence within their ranks tbh. and haymon is very intelligent. I mean he has basically a license to transfer all the investors money into he's bank account and over pay fighters

    of course Haymon gets his guys the highest purse he can. He gets a chunk of it. Some people act like Haymon is doing all this for free! lol
