Kovalev or GGG, Who deserves the Hype?

Obviously both

 

I really think they both deserve all the hype they can get.
Golovkin is even harder to beat for sure, but he can't get the big fights because they just run away or come up with bulls__t demands.
Kovalev already had those "bigger" fights and showed that these guys were only bigger names instead of much stronger opponents.
So kovalev has the edge for now, due to age and only one guy actually ran away from him, so he had the chance to beat these names already.

On the other hand, I can't think of anyone in Golovkin's weightclass who'd actually stand more as a 1 out of 10 chance, while I believe Kova vs the pimp is about a 80/20 fight

 

Tell that to Alvarez.
And most people clearly disagree with that. I really think the bookies even overvalue Canelo with 7/2 odds.

 

No it wasn't lol you made this thread after you quoted me (it tells you the time of the post dish!t) I've already said kovalev has a better record, keep up. And no most hype comes from the potential people see in a fighter and the manner of his wins otherwise prospects wouldn't have any hype at all would they?

 

is it weird that every sparring partner who sparred both kovalev and king GiGi has stated that king GiGi hits harder? keep in mind that kovalev is so much bigger and heavier, GiGi obviously deserves more hype..

On the other hand, GGG beat more top 10 ring rated opponents in more dominant fashion and pretty much never struggled. So Kovalev by only a very slight edge for me.
