Some people might actually believe Kovalev's achievements are overrated and GGG's domination is more impressive. Not saying I %100 agree with them but It's still an opinion.

hype is based off of how much potential fans think you have, because the hype comes from the casuals, not the hardcore fans, so resume has very little to do with it, it has more to do with how good a fighter looks.

    right... so that's your agenda.
you take 2 of the top guys who both absolutely deserve hype and then the guy finishing second suddenly doesn't deserve any hype at all.

What if you put in Inoue, Parker, Joshua, Spence, Rigo, Frampton, Crawford and such... does that mean the ones that get less votes don't deserve their hype according to you? :blood
Did you ever even consider that a lot of the Golovkin fans are also Kovalev fans because of their simularities. Hardhitters, trying to get every belt, very skilled, and from countries outside of the established "big" boxing countries.

It's not about who he's beating it's how he beats them (yes kovalev looks good beating bhop and pascal and deserves the hype and support he gets) but how can you not see how good GGG is. he's wiping the floor with his opponents yeah there not the greatest but if you can't see all the little things he does then that's on you.

Serious question and this squashes everything, who has the better resume Kovalev or GGG? I don't need to hear nothing else Robney, I don't, just answer the question and you will see if I have an agenda or an Educated opininon.

A fighter is judged on how good he is by who he beats and who he fights... Kovalev tops GGG in that department.

    Resume Kovalev.
So now explain to me why you don't have an agenda... because this question clearly shows you have, because that's about the only thing that gives Kova the edge.

Why does saying GGG hasn't deserved the hype for fighting lesser competition an agenda? Its an opinion and one that real GGG fans share. And no the questions judges their resumes as a whole, and GGG just doesn't stack up to Kovalev.. Take it for what it's worth Robney. You pick Kovalev but argue for GGG, so you should have just voted for GGG if that's the case, you can't choose both.

So in your opinion nobody coming up deserves any hype until they have beaten up the oldies that had established themselves?!
Even if the guys are weirdly skilled, their opponents don't stand a chance in hell and the established names do everything in their power to avoid sharing the ring with them?!

Because that's what we're talking about here. We have a guy that others are so afraid to fight, that he might eventually become undisputed without ever facing one of the bigger names.

But when it's time to give someone like that credit, the only thing they can catch him on is "RESUME". He didn't fight those guys, they simply ran away or came up with silly demands... must mean he's not really that good at all :-((

When comparing GGG against Kovalev... Kovalev deserves all the Hype.. Resume isn't enough for you? What do you want Robney a Hypothetical H2H fight? Sorry i don't want to hear it.. People want to fight GGG, despite what you think He doesn't want to fight them... Lara has been calling him out for a year now? What are you going to tell me?

Al haymon doesn't do buisness with K2? Lara is just Tweeting with no real desire to fight GGG? Cmon man..... People ain't scared of GGG.. BJS said he'd take less money to fight GGG in the UK...GGG should jump on that... Stop Fabricating that GGG is so feared. That's BS.

really, it's pointless to even have a conversation with you, the hate for Golovkin obviously runs deep.
Just for my point, why don't you check who I picked from these two names. IT'S KOVALEV AND ON RESUME!
That doesn't mean Golovkin doesn't deserve the hype, because he does. And you yourself don't believe that Lara and BJ bull, but it does suit your agenda.

Bye... I won't react to this thread anymore, because it's obviously pointless.

Both deserve the hype but Kovalev deserves more.

Damn Robney, because i don't share the same opinion as you, you bail? Everyone who knows me, Mopar, Cst80 they know I don't hate GGG... I actually think he has potential, all I want is for him to earn his hype, why is that so much to ask?
