Wilder has the talent to make fights with overmatched guys feel very close

Who said I think wilder is that good?

You are the one who thinks he's not that good so surely going life and death with these guys comes as no surprise to you. If you were making sense you should feel that they are not overmatched, as you clearly feel wilder is an average fighter. Your logic is non existent.

It's weird not to have heard of Szpilka, I mean I'd understand not seeing his fights but his name has been floating on these forums for years now, strange to have missed it.

:nono how did i make you think that?

And did you really miss Adamek vs. Vitaly, or are you just playing dumb?

P.S I started first grade in 2000  and i seem to know more about boxing. (seem to)

I've seen the name but does anyone know how to pronounce it ??

There's no shame in not having heard of these journeymen. They are not world class fighters. Forgettable fighters, hopefully.
Unfortunately I've heard of Mark De Mori now too, but that's not Wilder's fault.

Look at the odds for all of those fights. They were supposed to be easy and routine fights for him. Point is Wilders a bum and one of the worst HW titlists of recent memory, his entire reign thus far is a fraud.

Wide odds do not necessarily translate to an easy fight.
Wilder does have talent but it´s only physical.

That's because he's on their level. Gotta hand it to Haymon, he's doing pretty good and even match-making :yep

Wilders is woeful going backwards, his ring generalship and fundamentals are woeful, he throws too many wild shots. All Wilder has is a big right hand shot, he has terrible balance aswell. Povetkin and Fury beat him convincingly

Do you know who Zine Eddine Benmakhlouf, Courtney Fry and Willie Williams are? They're recent opponents of RJJ. Oh wait, you have never heard of RJJ? What's wrong with you?

Yes, *THIS* is the level of logic you're using mate.

This logic doesn't make sense though, if you believe he is a bum then you cannot claim these guys were overmatched. Your complaints should be about the bookmakers odds if you think wilder is rubbish. because if I look at it from your point of view I cannot see how you can claim he's been overmatched.

The logic here is non existent. This is how you guys are looking at it...

Wilder is a bum, he's being fed bums who are overmatched, those bums then give him a competitive fight (which means there is no way they can possibly be labelled overmatched). You can then point to the bookmakers odds (but that has to be a mark against the bookmaker, not wilder).

Either wilder is a bum and his opponents are bums, or he's good and his opponents are good. I don't really care which one people choose out of those, but there is literally no argument to say his opponents are overmatched as the evidence is right there in the footage, they are clearly not overmatched.

    Am i?
You were saying that only heard of/seen Adamek in the early 2000s.
But since then he has had plenty of exposure on multiple platforms and hes been in there with important fighters.

The writing is on the wall, theres nothing to expose.
His last 3 opponents have been on short notice.
And it´s funny how everyone expected him to have it easy vs Szpilka when he struggled with Molina nad Duhaupas.
