I don't think Fury was in good enough shape in the 1st fight. He gassed out a bit in the last round. Peter Fury probably saw that and I bet they will be even better prepared this time around.
wlad needed to lose 1 to get a reality check and maybe is personal issues had some part, but fury was the better man and he is the best heavyweight in the world atm, but if wlad picks himself up, he will beat fury easy ud or ko
Mike Tyson is a not very intelligent but what he just said is dead right. When Klitschko is in "fighting" condition (mentally), he is great. People can say what they want. He has kept the HW division under his wings for a number of years for a reason. He is a talented fighter. Full props to Fury for executing a solid game plan and beating a good fighter. However, I agree with Mike. I see a high chance that Klitschko wins the rematch and im glad to see the Fury's are open to the idea that it might just happen too. No one is saying Fury isnt more than capable (as he proved the 1st time around) but, I think Klitschko will have his number this time around. He definitely gained my respect after the first fight. Regardless if I think he is a flawed fighter and the win was lacklustre. He has proven to be levels above the likes of Wilder and AJ at this stage.
I think Fury is still improving. Just honing on those skills. I picked Fury to outpoint Klitschko first time round - I will pick Fury to KO Wlad if they are to fight again. I didn't see much out of Wlad, and I think he'll be mentally spent next time round. Fury to KO Wlad down the stretch.
If the same Klitschko comes into the 2nd fight, that fought in the 1st. You might be right! I was not impressed with Wlads performance at all and credit to Fury for having him struggle towards the end of the fight :good
What I like about Tyson is that he can be unbiased and doesn't always stick with the black fighters, he's about the only african american fighter who can rate a fighter honestly without favouring a fighter due to his skin tone. As far as the brits coming back into boxing,WTF are you talking about it's in the best state it has probably ever been in. Also the eastern euro fighters fight more like Tyson did, he probably admires them for that, they come to fight, press forward, make the fight.
Being a longtime Klitschko fan I don't make excuses for him; he should've known to be fully prepared after the Brewster and Sanders losses I also don't agree with Mike in that his mind was somewhere else I just think he did not know how to deal with an opponent that was Taller than him him with more reach to block and impressive leaning / feinting defense But who knows. That is just my opinion I think this rematch will be a crutial fight in Wlads legacy so to speak. Especially if he can @break new ground@ at his age and adapt his style for a 6 foot 9 oppnent and win, as I think he can
Tyson is probably the most knowledgeable champion ever on the history of the sport. To put it the most kindly, yes he can be quirky..lol and may have contradicted himself a bit lately but he was a true student of the game, especially in his younger days. Probably had a lot to do with Damato.
