This would be a nightmare matchup for tito at 147 or 154, marg would just keep pouring on the pressure round after round. I see tito going down hard from accumulation by round 9 or 10. It's too bad their ages don't match or we could have gotten this fight.
I agree this would have been a classic however all biased aside and true objectivity to the surface no one goes toe to toe with Tito in those weight classes and wins....Margo gets trashed around the 10th
Tito would have wrecked Margarito. You beat Tito with movement and the jab not trying to pressure him. Tito is quicker, just as big, hits harder and his punches are more compact. Margarito would make it entertaining but the difference in class and power will show.
A poll would be nice though I believe this was done already....I can only envision a handful of thick headed JM22's and Kush's would think Margo wins this one.
This would've been one helluva cracking fight. Wouldn't be surprised if Margo knocked him down but Tito would bust Margo up Mosley style IMO.
Tito is a far superior fighter to Cotto . He would land at a 40% connect rate in his fights. Against Margarito it would be 70%. This is a really bad fight for Tony!
This fight is absolutely the worst possible fight for Margo, bricks or no bricks. You're not gonna stand there and brawl with a prime Trinidad at 147, that's not happening. That chunky left hook would be landing all night, would be funny to see how much punishment Margo can absorb from an ATG puncher like Trinidad.
