Ortiz does look a bit Older than 36 right lololol Either way he's got a heavy punch that's well schooled I wouldn't doubt he could but a hurting on both guys if given the opportunity. He certainly has the tools and the pedigree.
Ortiz is a steroids abuser, so he should probably shut his pie hole. If I were Fury or even Wilder, who, let's be fair to him, is a clown, I would not fight Ortiz's cheating ass under any circumstances.
Per GoldenBoyBoxing, several heavys have turned down facing Luis Ortiz on March 5 in Washington,DC, some without even hearing the money. Among opponents (their teams really) who turned down Luis Ortiz for 3/5 HBO fight: Carlos Takam, Andy Ruiz and Andrey Fedosov.
Wow those are 3 good fights right there. Maybe GoldenBoy can make this happen. The clock is tickin on the big fella.
I might be wrong, but hasn't he cleaned up completely and gone PED testing before his recent fights and come through fine?
Why Fedosov turned it down is beyond me, he should jump in to make it happen. That's sad, because apart from these three there aren't many more top guys left that are not with Haymon... Hey, what about Briggs, he is ranked by WBA so it shouldn't be a problem
ortiz is to good for to little reward if i was a promoter i would not let my fighter near him until madartory onliged to do so. i also beleive there should be a 4 year worldwide ban for first offense and lifetime ban for second in all sports.
Sean it looks like the promoters agree with you. GoldenBoy has it's work cut out for them trying get Ortiz an opponent after that destruction of Jennings.
team ortiz will have to throw money at it and get him a final eliminator and then keep him busy until an elimination is ordered. not going to get a shot otherwise.
