You call me re****ed but use sentences such as "all evidence point to you".

I would suggest if you're to insult someone's intelligence, try to avoid basic spag errors.

As for "it's a fact" I struggle to see how ranking two men across 3 separate divisions can reduce one's mental state to that of re****ation.

If you can't form a coherent argument you may as well place me on ignore because I have no wish to devolve a debate into petty insults.

One thing is certain,re****ed or not you dont know **** about boxing cause only someone who doesnt have a clue would have those fighters ranked the way you had.

A nerd I will gladly accept.

I'm not desperate though, what would I be deseparate for?

    I don't have a clue, I agree there.

I don't see why I would want to come back to someone who devolves into petty insults.

What do you mean you don't know if they all match up correctly. Literally none of them match. It was a **** poor job of assembling a list of fighters that match Pea's. Not just matching the name of the fighter, but how good they were when Pea or May beat them. That is just as important.

Don't think I didn't notice you not being able to come up with one... not ONE name that can match Pea even fighting the WW beasts of Oscar and Tito. Mayweather never in his life fought that level of a foe. Granted, Pea lost the Tito fight, but even to last the distance against a prime killer like Tito when you're well past your best and coked up is damn impressive.

So... Nobody to match Chavez. Not one name on your list was as good as Chavez was, or even when Pea fought him. Not a single fighter on your list.

Oscar LMAO - Well past his best.. inactive.. weight drained.. Paltry win, and even then, Oscar gave him hell

Mosley LMAO - No need to even comment here. McGirt was distinctly better than the version May beat.

Castillo - I feel he lost the first fight. Good win the second time out.

Alvarez - Please, he's nothing special and was even worse when Pea beat him. Again, he's simply okay.

JMM - Too small, never fought in the division before, past his best etc etc. Good win considering how dominate he was, but JMM wasn't near the fighter he once was

Hatton - Drinking issue comes to mind. Okay fighter. Nelson was better than him.. so was Ramirez.. So was McGirt.. Most of Pea's better wins are better than Hatton

I like the Corrales win actually. Better than most you named.

The fact remains that Pea's list is better, and it's not all that close. Mayweather beat a lot of names..but names well past their best. Pea fought the best and didn't avoid the best. ****, I don't May would even fight a McGirt.

    Even Corrales was weight-drained.

You listed the best fighters Whitaker fought. And I pulled a handful of guys off Mayweather's list who were ALL BETTER ... and you'r mad.

    I get that.

Oscar stopped Chavez twice. Oscar was better than Chavez. Manny Pacquiao is miles better than Buddy McGirt ever was. And Manny Pacquiao with a rotator cuff injury is still better than Buddy McGirt with a rotator cuff injury.Hernandez beat Nelson in a unification at their ACTUAL WEIGHTS ... he didn't drag Nelson up like Pernell did for one fight.

And on down the line. Alvarez. Cotto. Hatton. Mosley. Castillo. Marquez. Gatti. Mix and match them. I don't care.

    There's not a "Haugen" in a bunch.

Mayweather fought so many top fighters, I had to leave some off ... while you were s****ing the bottom of the barrel pulling out names like Harold Brazier.

I left off Diego Corrales. I left off Zab Judah. I left off Marcos Maidana. I left off Jesus Chavez. I left off Angel Manfredy. I left off Roberto Guerrero. I left off Andre Berto. I left off Sharmba Mitchell. I left off Carlos Baldomir.

Hell, those second group of guys right there could've beat half the people on that list you touted for Whitaker.

You were having such a hard time finding decent fighters Whitaker beat you had to add the names of four guys who Whitaker went 1-3-1 against.

Whitaker's list, by comparison, is a full level below Mayweather's.

Roberto Guerrero beats the hell out of Haugen, Brazier, Rivera ... too. And Guerrero is barely in Mayweather's top 20 opponents. (If he even is.)

Give it a rest. I'm getting tired of beating you over the head with a folding chair.

Let me know when you've come to your senses.

But I'm tired of stating the obvious a hundred times for someone who just refuses to accept reality.

    Gotta go.

    :hi:

This is how I know you're full of **** and must not truly watch boxing. Here is what you tried to make ****ogous:

    1. Oscar beat Chavez (2 times)
    2. I listed Chavez as a solid win for Pea
    3. You then drew the conclusion that since May beat a much older and inactive and **** hoya compared to the one Pea fought... that since he beat Chavez WHEN OSCAR WAS PRIME and CHAVEZ WAS MUCH WORSE THAN WHEN PEA beat him. Therefore Oscar > Chavez. So is so much wrong with your facts, context and deductive logic that I think there is no point in discussing much more with you. That was by far one of the worst ****ogies to use to try and prove a case that I've seen on this board. That's say something. Congrats

I'm not even messing around when I say that you're so off base with your logic and ability to comprehend basic concepts of time frame and context, there isn't much more we need to say. Suffice to say that Pea is greater than May, and to be honest, it's not even that close when it's all said and done. You know it I know it, done deal

I'm off base with my logic?

The whole basis of your argument is a fight Whitaker didn't even get the win in.

I agree, I thought Whitaker won the fight with Chavez. But many didn't. And the judges didn't.

It's like spending all your time talking about Oscar's best win came against Trinidad ... when Oscar didn't get the nod.

The best fighter Pernell Whitaker actually defeated in the ring - and had his hand raised - was Azumah Nelson. By far ... the best was Azumah Nelson.

And Azumah Nelson SUCKED at any weight above 130. He fought at lightweight TWO TIMES in his entire career and lost both.

    That's Whitaker's BEST win.

If you are champ from 135 to 154, and your BEST WIN came against a guy who was excellent at 130 ... and never won a fight above that weight ... that isn't saying much.

It's fine if your best win is Azumah Nelson IF YOUR NAME IS JESSE JAMES LEIJA - who, frankly, owned Nelson in three of their four fights.

It's not fine if your best win is Azumah Nelson if you're trying to claim you beat better guys than Floyd Mayweather did.

It's comical, in fact. I know Pernell was the darling of a lot of boxing people ... because he was so smooth in the ring.

But if you don't think Floyd Mayweather deserves a top rating all-time, Pernell "freaking" Whitaker CERTAINLY DOES NOT.

When it comes to records and quality of opposition, it's a landslide in Mayweather's favor.

Because Mayweather's record and quality of opponents and success (setting historic PPV records and purse records) blows Pernell out of the water.

I thought listing all their names side by side would kind of make it obvious. They literally fought in the same divisions ... and it's NO CONTEST in Mayweather's favor.

Whitaker has NOTHING over Mayweather. It's as plain as the nose on your face. You don't have to like either guy (I don't).

But be freaking HONEST with yourself. It's an insane argument to try to claim beating Azumah Nelson at LIGHTWEIGHT and DRAWING with Chavez AT WELTERWEIGHT (where Chavez wasn't any good either) ... is somehow better than EVERYBODY Mayweather beat.

    It's laughable.

And that's the last I'm going to say on the matter. I think I proved my point when it comes to Mayweather and Whitaker.

If you rated Whitaker all-time, before ... PUT MAYWEATHER NO WORSE THAN ONE SPOT AHEAD OF PERNELL. He was clearly better ... in every regard. Wins. Losses (0r lack thereof). Boxing achievements. Quality of opposition. Never quitting because he hurt himself against a journeyman on ESPN ... everything.
