Floyd Mayweather was clearly better than Pernell Whitaker ... in every regard. Wins. Losses (0r lack thereof). Boxing achievements. Quality of opposition. Never quitting because he hurt himself against a journeyman on ESPN ... everything.

Beating Azumah Nelson at Lightweight isn't better than all of Mayweather's career accomplishments.

I'm not defending Mayweather. And Whitaker failed drug tests. He had his win against Pestrayev removed because he was snorting coke before the fight. Athletes back then didn't snort coke to mellow out. They did it before games and matches to sharpen their reactions, boost their metabolism and focus during their match or their game.

And, according to Tyrell Biggs, he and Whitaker were doing it all the time in the 1980s. Athletes were in every sport.

So, if you THINK Mayweather cheated, fine. We KNOW Whitaker did. He got caught red handed and his win was taken away from him.
