And that's that, Hibbert was better conditioned and stronger. Now I wonder if we'll see him against Ryan AGAIN... he's always in good fights and a good fighter for Matchroom to have on Skycards, unlike the likes of Paul Smith etc, he's always in interesting fights with a fan friendly style. Martin will come again he's only 21 and his power etc will develop, but he needs a few more fights to figure out his own style and work on stamina, some durable journeymen would be good for him. it does matter. too people who bet on hibbert points. and martin doesnt want to get stopped, he obviously wanted to go the distance.
good post-fight interview from martin, no whining about bad refereeing, took responsibility despite his visible frustration. keep in mind this kid is only 21.
i agree. he wasn't up until at least 9, maybe 9 and a half, but it shouldn't have been stopped in any case. i just admire the kid's maturity, he could've legitimately thrown a tantrum there haha.
