    They picked Mayfield because, not only is he a journeyman level at best he wasn't scheduled to fight anyone.

    Thus, was a setup to showcase the Russian, who's proven to me that he's barely a better journeyman man than a totally out of fighting shape karim..

    When ANYONE is out of fighting shape, there's zero excuse for letting it go to the cards. Idgaf how lightly you supposedly hit, it doesn't take any true power to stop and out of shape anybody. He could be an elite fighter but when out of shape you're on a journeymans level

    Mayfield is also 35, and has lost 2 of last 3 fights, and the one he won was against a bum. Mayfield is done, I doubt he has much motivation left.
