Yeah....I'm not getting my hopes up.

Maybe Froch is coming out of retirement.:happy..........Probably not that either.:?

Degale is with Haymon, so eliminates him as well.

I hope it's NOT Andre Ward.

Froch would be cool, but he always seemed reluctant to face Hopkins because of the age thing. If Froch were to come back, DeGale or Golovkin would make more sense to me.

More likely Lara will move up and fight Kovalev than Golovkin signing to fight BHOP. Unless BHOP agrees to 156.

Why would GGG want to face Hopkins at 156?

If that ever happens, it's a GBP set-up.

Both Ward and Hopkins have stated on multiple occasions they would never fight one another.
Maybe he ends it with a rise to Cruiser and fight Tony Bellow or Huck.

I tend to believe it won't be a move to cruiser. Hopkins was never an especially big light heavyweight. I think it's more apt to be at 168 or 175 or somewhere in between.

    So do I.:zzz:lol:

Froch would handle Chunky with relative ease. And I hope does, and I still think he beats GGG.

Kovalev was first time many people really resepct Hopkin. He didnt drag someone up. He took on legit monster, and stick out tongue

I was also thinking Froch. Froch says he is 172 at lowest so that could happen. Huge fight

GGG is 160. Not going anywhere til he unify

Anyone who didn't respect Hopkins' accomplishments in the ring before that is a moron of the highest order.

That would probably be the best fight of the names mentioned that seem remotely possible and fit the bill.

Didn't GGG's people say they were having talks about fighting in the UK, possibly against DeGale at 168?

Froch was pretty adamant that he would never fight BHOP.
Says if he loses, it's a big hit to his legacy, and if he wins, he just beat a 50 year (now 51 yo) old man.

Isn't he recovering from an injury?

I still don't think it will be someone with Haymon, in any case.
