50/50 and joint production seems reasonable to me are hbo worried their star gets knocked clean out?

It's probably more financial, they want the full pie. I don't understand why it has to be co-production with SHO anyway, I understood the purse bid problems and I agreed with Team Stevenson on that but why bring SHO into this out of nowhere?

usual politics bs. in my opinion hbo shouldn't be getting in the way of this fight for one simple reason, they have been getting sergey kovalev fighting on their network for low money for ages, they should be more grateful for him

    Yes.

Stevenson KO's the TOMATO KAN Krusher then goes back to Showtime/PBC leaving HBO with nothing but a KO'ed hype job. That's why HBO didn't want to pony up the doe for the purse bid and that's why the 50/50 joint production terms are not agreeable.

For the same reason that Kovalev re-upped with HBO when his initial contract expired instead of taking the Stevenson fight on Showtime when he had the opportunity. Rejecting this offer will constitute the THIRD time Kovalev has ducked Stevenson...

    I don't think so.

I think HBO is just bitter that they helped build Stevenson into a star, and then he bolted when they were attempting to set up a mega fight between him and Kovalev.

Stevenson was like 35 when he beat Dawson to win the championship he's atleast 38 now.:-( How old is Kovalev?

Not enough pie to split. If I were HBO, I wouldn't want a joint production either.

That because Sergey Kovalev has a fight contract with HBO. They can actually resist it or possibly even file a lawsuit against Main Events and Kovalev for not honoring their contract. Adonis can fight on any network he wants. Don't worry Showtime will still love you Adonis even when you go back all beatup and with no belt. :D

Showtime doesn't want a co-production either. Don't let Adonis fool you.
