I actually had ward as fave in the fight a few months ago. but now i take in factors that have been shown before me. Kovalev is stronger has range, a nasty jab, has a unforgivable right hand. whilst has an inside game. rofl damn guys anyone who has boxed would know that and inside game dont mean jack unless you can get inside, and without being ktfo. You must had ignored Kovalev's career until now, or are you making Ward's inactivity much more of a factor than it is ? Ward having all that time off was a blessing for him. He finally got to have his shoulder fixed, rehabbed his shoulder while giving his body and mind a great break. I hadn't had time to waste for the Smith comeback fight, I'll watch it getting ready for the barrera fight. That's as long as wards not talking rubbish again. Few years ago, the rubbish he was speaking landed him in court, many times. Costing him how many tens of millions, a few I'd have to assume. That break took him right out of his powder puff, pathetic joke of a division. Now he's looking at facing barrera. God, imagine going from froch and a broken Kessler to barrera. I think it could come down to a battle of the jabs. if kovalev can establish he's jab then ward will get brutalised if ward can establish he's jab and grab he has a chance, but then again kovalev might have the physical strength to rough him up on the inside
same here i thought i saw slight openings in kovalevs armour in the first pascal fight (even tho he nearly killed him) but now i think kovalev puts ward into retirement hopkins is a wise as they come in the boxing ring he used everything he could to survive and kovalev i feel eased up out of respect he wont do them same for ward he will want to make a huge statement by destroying him

he is rough house when he has the size advantage. I personally think if ward wins the battle of the jabs and is then aloud lead with the head to he's hearts content and allowed clinch and the ref doesn't allow kovalev to break the clinch then ward can win basically what im say is that if the fights in Oakland ward has a chance
What the hell are you talking about? Kovalev is very capable of beating ward in fact he's a bad match up for ward. I give kovalev his due he fights the best and is proven and is good for the sport he should be getting the hype ggg is receiving.
Kovalev and Ward are H2H nightmares in their prime. Either could win. This is what it's all about guys. Prime for prime, best against the best. Hopefully it happens at the end of this year. May the best man win.
