So Kovalev dismantles Saad Muhammad, Spinks, Foster, Jones, Qawi huh, lmao. Wlad beats Ali, prime Mike, prime Holy, he'll even prime Mercer, Witherspoon, and many others. And Lomachenko just obliterates Armstrong, Saddler and Pep and those guys huh lol...

The point is if pro boxing was an option to people in the eastern euro countries, then people who never even laced up a glove may have been enticed to do so. Your argument is not appropriate.

The bar is set too low for greatness nowadays...by nuthuggers with an agenda to discredit the greats....in order make up for their lack of greatness.:deal:deal:deal

Wins over Jean Pascal and David Lemieux puts you on par with the ATG's.

    Kovalev went 7 with Pascal.

Spinks would do 7 against Pascal.....7 years for manslaughter:lol:

Stop your whining, nya nya nya. Lol Fury almost got ko'd by a career cruiserweight Cunningham and both Klitschko's lost to men much smaller than them before Fury. Weight classes don't make a fighter greater or better. Plenty of giant slayers.

    Not really.

    Unlike GGG
Hagler was not easy to hit.

What does Hagler do to David Lemieux and Willie Monroe Jr:dead

Generally speaking, weren't most of the 1917-1992 Eastern Euros that these guys are obsessing over getting beat up under the Soviet banner by our (everybody free enough to have pro boxers) amateurs ?

I don't see the reason for all the angst. :think

Nutrition and training has changed **** all since the sixties. Go watch footage of boxers from the 20s and they are doing the same exercises as the ones today. Look at their photographs and they are every bit as ripped and toned as today's boxers. PEDs are the only thing that has improved. The era wasn't inferior in competition just because Eastern Europeans didn't go pro. The total number of fights and fighters was roughly equal to the number today which means that the talent pool and level of competition would be similar.

Huck just doesn't have the physical talent or the skillset to beat Ali. If he were sent back in a time machine to the sixties he'd maybe be as good as Jerry Quarry or Jimmy Ellis. Floyd Patterson, Kenny Norton, George Forman, Joe Frazier, Sonny Liston, all beat him, and maybe a few others like Jimmy Young, Ernie Terrell, and Ron Lyle.

Muhammed Ali is slightly bigger than Evander Holyfield.
