Neither Danny Williams nor McBride destroyed Tyson. Just face the fact that Lyle lost to every top rated fighter he faced besides the escape job against Shavers and almost pulling it out against Foreman. Basically shows how overrated Foreman is since Lyle was the only puncher he faced first career.

Lyle was the only puncher that foreman fought? Uh sandra? Joe frazier uh ?
George chuvalo uh? 73wins 64 kos the only man to knock out quarry clean in his complete carrer, not even lyle,mc foster or shavers could do it .
Ken norton broke the jaw of ali. 42 wins 33kos hardly a light puncher.

And tyson ? Pre prision fought just 2 punchers Bruno glass chin( the first man who stunned tyson) and the overrated joke ruddock who got stopped by every good guy that he fought( morrison, lewis, tyson) and tyson strugled with him

    TYSON GOT DESTROYED BY WILLIAMS

A vídeo says more than a liar sandra

MIKE TYSON ko'd BY DANNY WILLIAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don´t see that Tyson was injured in Williams Fight? Second round look at his knee.

Whats your problem? Are you Lyle or what? That Tyson wasn´t Iron Mike from the late 80´s he was a shot man who fights for money and drugs!

Lyle was a good Boxer and I like his fights very much. But c mon against Prime Tyson his chances would be very, very small. Tyson was the way better fighter with better skills, speed, defense and Knockoutpower.

Realy I don´t see how Lyle will win against Tyson. The Lyle from Foreman fight would get a horribel beating with such a defense. It seems you are the only one who don´t want to see this.

    First of all !!

Read all the conversation before you join where NOBODY invited you.

I PICKED TYSON. What i said is that he should be at his best and it would not be the one sided massacre that several tyson obsessed fanboys are saying. They said that lyle would last 1 round it is a complete bull**** when a drug adict thomas lasted 6,james smith, green lasted the distance,a past prime berbick lasted 2,and several bums lasted more han 1 with tyson. I mentioned the williams fight because a tyson fan mentioned a tko defeat of lyle when he was 38. The next time dont expose yourself like an idiot and pick another poster when you want to comment your trash

None of that has any relevance to how a bout with Tyson would go 'bigger with more reach than Tyson', everyone Tyson faced in his career could say the same.

Tyson would easily beat Lyle, even 1990 Tyson easily beats Lyle. Lyle's punches were telegraphed and he couldn't punch inside or throw an uppercut meaning he gets ripped to shred at mid range and inside. He also doesn't have much in the way of a defense. Outside Tyson would slip and move in fast

1990 Tyson isn't much worse than 1989 Tyson. It's just he's facing an enigma with a perfect style and strategy to beat him. Lyle is not such a man and doesn't have as much skill as Douglas had in his little finger. Now 1990 Buster Douglas maybe always beats Tyson, so no Tyson nuthuggary over here.

Lyle could not throw an uppercut? Hahah whith this phrase you showed that the only thing you have watched of lyle was the typical and famous fights with ali, foreman, young and shavers. Go and learn anything about him and then come back with a decent argument

Yes and Quarry, I don't care what he does against sub par opposition. Against top opposition he was invariably found out as being severely limited and too slow.

Yes he was that slow that was winning in the scorecards with ali.he was that slow that catched foreman much more times cleanly than anybody aside ali.
He was that slow that he was called like a great sparring partner for ali, holmes and frazier. Shavers can tell you that he was very slow.
And for the idiots who usually say "lyle did not hit that hard" under the stupid pretext " he nearly did not stop top 10 contenders" based on this nonsense ali did hit harder than lyle.
Shavers was asked about who hits harder holmes and lyle and he laughed.
And larry was hardly a light puncher.
Shavers said in an interview that he rated lyle himself and foreman at the 3 hardest punchers ever.leroy caldwell said that lyle did hit as hard as foreman

    :happy

I said the same thing earlier.

Lyle has nothing in common with Douglas, or Tillis. Apart from being black and fighting Shavers (Tillis).

But he had some things with James smith for example. Simply lyle was probably physically stronger and hits harder with tougher mind. or imagine a guy with the power of frank bruno(first man who did stun tyson) with better chin

None of that will help him against Tyson.

    :rofl

Tyson pummeled Ruddock TWICE. He showed, unlike Foreman against Lyle after being saved by the bell, that he could ship bombs from a ferocious power puncher without going down and counter with bombs of his own. Tyson proved his chin. Were Chuvalo, Frazier or Norton able to land anything on Foreman's mandible? No. But Lyle did, and when he did Foreman was looking for that soft spot on the canvas.

If you're using Ken Norton and George Chuvalo as "punchers" on Foreman's ledger, than I'm using Pinklon Thomas, Tony Tucker and Alex Stewart on Tyson's.

    Foreman's opponents who could punch:
    Chuvalo (73 wins - 64 KO's)
    Frazier (32 wins - 27 KO's)
    Norton (42 wins - 33 KO's)
    Lyle (43 wins - 31 KO's)
    Frazier (32 wins - 27 KO's)

    Tyson's opponents who could punch:
    Smith (44 wins - 32 KO's)
    Thomas (43 wins - 34 KO's)
    Tucker (57 wins - 47 KO's)
    Bruno (40 wins - 38 KO's)
    Stewart (43 wins - 40 KO's)
    Ruddock (40 wins - 30 KO's)
    Ruddock rematch (40 wins - 30 KO's)

Tyson's beard was proven since he got hit by every single power man he faced, sans Stewart. But Foreman, yeah, the only one who tested his whiskers was Lyle, and we all saw how that one developed.
