What an absolute farce. Khan's tweet is inadvertently hilarious too:

"Delighted to announce i will be fighting @Canelo May 7th Cinco De Mayo, Las Vegas for the 155lbs @WBCBoxing title!"

WTF is Amir on about? There is no 155b title.

    :lol::lol::lol:

    Khan is so pathetic.

I may give Canelo a pass on this one considering he is one of the few fighters to fight top opposition constantly.

    Angulo
    Trout
    Mayweather
    Kirkland
    Lara
    Cotto

Khan finally got that big pay day he's been chasing. With that said Canelo should win. I see Khan trying to show a lot of movement in this fight get in and out with his speed and show angles turning Canelo. Cotto was having early success with this against Canelo in their fight I see Khan's team seeing that and they will try it against Canelo. What's the reach of Khan and Canelo?

    The same reach, same height.

Wondering what the fight night weight is for Khan. Anyone have those numbers?

maybe khan cant make 147 anymore with all the non fighting he has been doing.
maybe his weight class is now 155/160?

I'm not justifying it, I'm saying its a Farce fight but I can give him a pass for fighting an undersized opponent, if I'm giving GGG, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Ward, and other top fighters fighting even worse comp than Amir Khan is to Canelo. :good

This is a winnable fight for both fighters.

Khan definitely represents stylistic problems with his height and reach and he's much quicker and faster than Canelo.

Most of you people dont have a clue. Khan knows he's fighting a bigger fighter and so he's going to stay well within himself and fight disciplined.

I liken this fight to Bradley vs Marquez. Marquez coming off brutaly KO'ing Pacquiao, made Bradley fight uncharacteristically for him, an extremely disciplined fight which resulted in Bradley being competitive where as if he fought as he normally does, Marquez would have likely picked him apart.
Khan I have no doubt will fight with the same mindset.

Out of all the welters out there Canelo could have fought, Khan is actually the most difficult style matchup for him.

The matchup is PPV worthy imo.

Well I'm just suggesting a theory. It's probably what HE thinks, no one else believes it though.

But what's important is that he believes he can replicate it. :hey

And the result will end up with Khan getting laid out cold. :hi::lol:
