Thanks. Interesting. Really doesn't leave many options, particularly if you discount Haymon guys. Unless he's severely downplaying himself, which doesn't seem like BHop.
Wouldn't have thought I'd be thinking this, but my money is on Ward. If it's GGG :shock::shock:

Thinking further, Hopkins getting in touch would explain why Ward seemingly stalled signing for Barrera at the very last minute.

Agreed. Hopkins isn't usually the type to downplay himself.

But in truth, and on paper, he probably SHOULD be the underdog against any name fighter since he did just turn 51.

    Chudinov?
One of the two guys at 168 who has a belt, and can fight Hopkins.

Both are attractive fights to the legend, but GGG is better for Hopkins, GGG & history

I can see Hopkins quietly slimming down to 160 & showing up as GGG mandatory after GGG does the labor of unifying the division

    It could end up
Further enhancing B-Hop legendary status even if he wins by SD
    or
GGG does what Kovalev couldn't do & stops Hopkins via clean KO

Are the Stevenson and Beterbiev fights even possible. I'm not sure about Haymon doing busyness with one of the managers in GBP.

Winning a round would be God like, but that so far out of reality. Imagine the beating kovalev gave him. Now add 100x that and that's would happen while ending 2nd or max 3rd round ko..

For the Golovkin fight Hopkins is both old and inactive. Coming down even to 170 would be a huge risk. I think that his health will be seriously endangered.

Why? Beterbiev is no harder a hitter than Kovalev, and not as good a boxer.
