I might be in the minority here, but I think that prime Ali was the post suspension Ali. He was bigger, stronger, tougher, more skilled, smarter, better ring IQ.

And his best wins came post suspension.

But ...but...Ali didn't have modern training techniques.

He wasn't 6'7 nor did he have modern nutrition.

    Whatever that shi.t means.

Sure, but Evander were outboxed, by the bigger Lennox. H2H>P4P.

Also some believes that Evander roided.

Which of course has nothing to do with the fact that Ali was slightly bigger than Evander. And he was a better boxer than Evander.

The old American boxing champions were so good, it made Europe dump billions upon billions of dollars into PED research.
Certain European communist countries even went so far as to add these new PEDs to ordinary family Welfare supplied goods, so they received; Milk, Eggs, Bread, Beans, PEDs in the weekly foodstuff rations.

Holyfield deserved the decision the second time around.

Yes, Ali were fast at 210 pounds too. But If he could fight at 201 pounds, he would be a cruiser today, not hard to regain 10 pounds at fight day and fight at 210 pounds - as a cruiser.

I don't say that weight is everything, it's not, but if we talk about 245/210 - Lean - It's a massive difference.

It's more than the difference between Floyd Mayweather and Andrew Ward 147/168... Just think about it, I would prefer Floyd at skills, but the size would simply be too much for him too overcome...

    Think man - THINK.

Ali were bigger than Holyfield. But he would simply have to trade away some speed for power in this division

you need to think - you are simply looking at just weight increases rather than what they do to the body. Floyd fought successfully at LW and LMW, which is the same percentage difference between ali and wladdie.

Just because am amn eats twenty pies a day to gain 20lbs for one of his fights, doesn't make him much more likely to win at all.

Ali would not have to gain a single ounce to whip on today's trash.

if being fat and tall was the be all, then Andre the Giant would have got ni the ring and won the world title from ali and holmes in the 70s.

but no he didn't because its not about being fat. The only reason fat comes into this is the fat that exists in the heads of hwblogger fans. Get out of yourm ums basement and get some exercise instead of trying to prove your fat arzes make you some kind of new evolution of mankind, then we wouldn't have to read such fatuous crud.

Sorry but I don't really see this Eastern European takeover everyone I babbling about?

There was Golota, who made some noise in the 90s.

Wladmir Klitscko, who was always destined to be great.

Kovalev and Golovkin are on their way.

Loma and Beterbiev are future stars.

    The rest were/are so so.

    I wouldn't really call it a takeover.

The only guy whose entered ATGness from Eastern Europe is Wladmir Klitscko so far.
