I don't understand this match up. It will probably do decent PPV numbers but it is short sited. Boxing is becoming more and more of joke.

 

Don't like this fight, Alvarez will impose himself on Khan and score a dominate ko by the middle rounds.

Just 4 fights or so ago Khan was still at 140, he'll be too small for Alvarez and has been off for a year by fight time.

I don't like the fight and see it as a mismatch but I don't have a problem with Alvarez taking it. He's consistently fought the best out there the last several years and this will simply be one of those easy fights that all champions take.

I'm interested in why the fight is at 155 and not the full middleweight limit . Was it for Khan's benefit since he's the one who benefits the most by keeping Alvarez size advantage contained a bit. Is it because Alvarez is so bent on fighting at 155 he gave up a weight advantage just to fight at his favorite weight. Or is he laying some ground work for a possible fight with Golovkin by making it clear that 155 is the weight he fights at.

Unless the undercard itself it ppv worthy I'll be skipping this fight.
