After months of desperate, pleading jabbering from Eddie Hearn and Kell Brook about Amir Khan's ''fear of losing'' to Brook, Khan really has well and truly shut them up. ''Where else has he got to go?'' was the gloating view of Hearn up until 72 hours ago. Well it turns out that Khan has somewhere in mind that will generate a career-high cheque that will absolutely dwarf anything Hearn and Brook have ever seen. No fan of Saul Alvarez, for me a manipulator of the modern day weigh-in system who is tremendously over-rated, but still great to see Amir sticking it to the Sky-Matchroom cartel and making huge money into the bargain.
Yeah, well done to Khan for choosing a fight he knows he will lose in order to secure a pay day. Well done to Canelo for cherry picking a glass chinned fraud.
I think Brook smashes Khan but am not a fan of him. I want to see them fight once and for all but clearly Khan doesn't want it.
Yep. If only to shut Hearn up this has been worth it. Scared of Brook. Then proceeds to go up to middleweight to fight the biggest PPV draw in boxing lmao. I bet Khan has been stringing them along for a laugh.
Agreed. I think Khan could have put Brook and Eddie out of their misery weeks ago, but after all the gob they've given it let them dangle for a while.
