Be honest, have you ever seen anything as pathetic as that since you've been a member?

    He'll never live that down.

Pretending to strangers on the internet who's he's never going to meet, that he's a big fan, before repeatedly trashing him?

There's sad, and then there's that.

    Absolutely TRAGIC.

I still wonder if my friend Rico has seen Jones vs. Toney. I am pretty sure Jones landed nearly 250 power shots on Toney.. That is not what I call unwilling to engage and in no way was that fight a "stinker" It was a complete master class, I have no idea how someone wouldnt enjoy that performance by Jones.

I also enjoyed Jones-Hopkins... That was a highly skilled chess match for two fighters in their first title fight.

    :good

It was the best win of Roy's career once you take everything into account IMO. He'd always have a styles edge on Toney, but everything came together that night.

That rooster move still remains one of my fondest memories that I have witnessed in boxing. Jones fought a perfect fight, though he got clipped by Toney pretty good in round 5... The Krusher might have ended his night if he caught Roy like that.

Resorting to claims that a fight was a "stinker" is the last line of defence for a hater.

Kovalev is a more aggressive Kelly Pavlik.

If Toney couldn't catch him... the can Krusher sure as hell couldn't.

Toney > Kovalev at any weight.

At 160-168 Kovalev gets whooped, at kovalev the cruiserweights boil down to LH not many natural smw beat a good cruiserweight.
Kovalev has said for ages now that it's a struggle to make LH, come on man the dudes a cruiserweight with heavyweight power, as good as he is.

You obviously aren't old enough to have watched Roy Jones Jr. fight. And I really like Kovalev, excellent boxer.

Toney would do to Kovalev what he did to Vassily Jirov...but worse.

Imagine what Toney would do to Cleverly...Pascal...and B-Pops at 50.

    Watch Toney vs Jirov.

Jirov would beat the lice off Kovalev.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Tarver knocked him silly. Glen Johnson brutally knocked him out. Calzaghe won every single round but 1. Lebedev put him into a coma. See the pattern here? He only started taking these fights after he was knocked out by Tarver. What did he have to lose at that point?

Ruiz was a circus fight against a guy who was a trinket beltholder. Lennox Lewis was THE champion just like DM was THE Champion and Roy was too Reluctant to fight either of them.

Jones was not willing to make the big fights. He was content on fighting for vacant or stripped belts. It hurts his legacy. Period.
