I think brook may need to do that. I know they want home advantage and want to try and build brook here but something has to give. If the money isn't there to get a big name here then Brook will have to go to America. Just the way it is.

Even if it was the case they could run a Sky Box office event and not sky sports box office why would they? It wouldn't be necessary as like Hearn did explain in that video what does he have to gain by using a veto against fight like this?

This fight being on sky sports box office doesn't hurt matchroom or future Ppv business. It would be of no interest for him to pick a fight with his broadcaster over something so insignificant.

The fight will be on sky sports box office simply because sky want it and eddy Hearn would want it as well. Why wouldn't he?

No one likes an arrogant talentless silver spooned ****, the suits at Sky have had enough of Edward and his wide boy antics, anyone would think his surname is Murdoch by the way he carries on. What Sky want they do, this wannabe Bernie Ecclestone is not in a position to dictate anything.

Just like his old man got mugged off by the West Ham Billionaires, his son will soon learn his place

The beginning of the end of Matchroom Boxing. Brook will leave, going to America in 2017, Joshua will have his own outfit soon enough and ****** will be back. Two more years maximum they have left.

If you're a Matchroom creditor, make sure it's payment on invoice from now, no more 30 days credit. Samaritans are on standby x

Some people through there dislike of Eddie Hearn are hoping that we will see some kind of fight between matchroom and sky.

    It's not gonna happen people.

This will be just like the fury PPV, sky and hearn will both be at the table working together.

Hearn was quite clear that if a British fighter wanted to appear on Sky Sports or Sky Sports PPV they'd have to go through Matchroom. There's no need to think he's lying really why would he? I'm sure Sky wouldn't be happy with him if he was lying.

****** was also quite clear that a channel could try to put on a PPV through Sky Box Office but not a promoter. I.E Golden Boy couldn't just call Sky distribution themselves and get it on Sky Box Office.

Therefore, they'd need to approach Matchroom to work a deal to get it on Sky, or go to a bidding tender between Sky and Boxnation (and other broadcasters) - Assuming that Matchroom are happy for Sky to bid - and obviously whoever bids the highest wins.

Technically could GBP not use the same model as WWE PPV events.

I don't think for one minute they will though.

I see GBP going straight to sky/matchroom and trying to negotiate a SBO event or GBP will let it go to tender and hope for a bidding war between boxnation, BT sport and sky.

    What same model?

WWE have a deal with Sky Sports for x amount of hours of content per year plus x amount of PPV dates a year.

GBP can't get that deal for boxing as Matchroom already have one in place - unless it wasn't for British fighters.

Eddie needs to get Kell a big fight. It is as simple as that. At the moment Kell is irrelevant, he has one name on his record and his first three defences will be Jo Dan, Gavin and Blizier...

Khan will probably get beat so that fight is now dead. Hearn needs to actually build Kell up against some of the top Americans and then maybe move up.

Ah I never knew the details about the WWE deal. I thought they just ran PPV shows with sky distribution separate from the sky sports deal.

6 pages on sky sports website they are hyping the fight up.

    its a ppv 100%

Sky could give Eddie a undercard slot hopefully this one wouldnt fall through.
Poor Eddie getting slaughtered on Twitter heard fastcar eddie in the slow lane trending.

Said it before and ill say it again eddie has a plan a and thats it no plan b or c he is obsessed with brit fights at Wembley. Nothing wrong with that but there are other stadium fights If Kell cant get the big US fights maybe dip your toes at at a bigger weight.

Holding the IBF belt has been a bit of a curse for Kell thd big fights are not being made. Cant see the winner of pac brad. If anything they will go gsrcia route.

Get kell in a mega fight with thurman asap after porter.

I'd say that number would be around the number of PPVs for the first half of the year.

An issue going forward for Sky is that they've indicated that they are going to have to make choices over sports rights in the future. That means cuts to programming or perhaps more PPV.
