Not if you're the only one signing the contract.

    Either side can reject terms.

It doesn't matter what Bernard did with Oscar.

Oscar wasn't the lineal belt holder at MW.

    Different circumstances altogether.

And you were saying that when GGG called the CW shot on Ward?

I don't blame Ward for refusing 164. He should reject that.

GGG is not the cash cow like canelo is and ward is more proven than GGG is.

Lol between the two of them right now GGG is far more of a cash cow than Ward.

I doubt it GGG just did a pathetic 97K on PPV and Ward got 2 million fighting Smith on BET.:yep:good GGG would get a career high payday if he fought Ward.

2 million freebie money from an investment firm, he didn't make that. 300k views and free ticket giveaways isn't cash cow material.

20k tix + 150k PPV, Ward's yet to get to that level.

Ward didn't even fight his big fights on a PPV, believe me, Froch-GGG would go straight to PPV.

Also if Ward is such a cash cow why was he scheduled to fight on an undercard?

That's what these people don't understand. Golovkin can reject a catchweight if he chooses. That's his right.

look at these guys reaching "well what kind of cash cow is ward"

in a ggg/ward fight....ggg has an edge on ward as far as marketability....

but lets not pretend ggg is canelo or Oscar here...hes no cash cow....he has an edge over ward

and ggg still would have made a career payday fighting him

It all comes down to financial leverage. Oscar was the cash-cow, so he called the shots. Bernard as proud of a champion as he was, put his ego aside and accepted. In this instance, Canelo is the cash cow, and, don't forget, the Lineal Champion.
