Quite the contrary. I just decided to let it go. Arguing with childish posters like Wass is not worth the time. I wouldn't doubt Wass still lives with his parents, so a real fight is unlikely. But, I am more than happy to challenge him in boxing knowledge on any objective test.

Douglas wasn't scared of the man he just whipped, he was looking for the biggest payday without any legal issues and took it against Holyfield. He made $24 million for that fight. If Tyson's camp offers more he likely goes with them. But Holyfield took the butt of the check, where as Tyson wouldn't.

No, I haven't, funny enough. I've never met him and wouldn't know him from Adam.

Is 'blurt' a euphemism for a man's 'baby lotion'?

In England, we call it 'wass'.

Yes, but that would be Lyle's downfall. He'd stand his ground and get decimated for doing so. I like Lyle, and he stood toe to toe with Foreman and nearly made him pay for the colossal mistake of choosing Lyle for his comeback opponent.

Tyson would probably win but don't put down Lyle. You don't get tougher and he was afraid of no one in the ring. Always cool in there. His right hand had great power built from using his prison cell walls for years as a heavy bag with towels wrapped around his hands as bag gloves. His best chance in this fight really is to push Mike back on his heels and aggressively attack. Letting Tyson come forward unafraid and Unintimidated is not a good idea.

Tyson in 5. Too much whirlwind of speed, power, angles & volume. The fight plays out like the first Bruno fight - but Lyle is able to fight the way Bruno did in the 1st round for the the whole fight, (but without excessively holding). Like Bruno, I can see Lyle hurting Tyson early, but not being able to finish him off - leading him to be brutally stopped down the stretch. It will be a wild, action-packed fight which Tyson prevails in a short & violent, hard fought victory.

Mike Tyson would KO Ron Lyle by the mid rounds. Lyle is not Foreman.

Resurrecting a thread from almost 6 years ago!! It's fun seeing classic threads from Classic back in the day. I'd like to see a Ruddock-Lyle fantasy thread but I'm sure it's been done many times before.
