This is idiotic, even for you. It doesn't even mean anything.

By this non sequitur you justify your *******ual love of a fighter who refuses to fight the best.

    **** off.

I respect your opinion, PugSp, but Spilzka was really the first guy he ever really struggled with, except maybe Sconiers. Jennings struggled with Tupou, Fedosov, Byarm who were below that level. Fury struggled with McDermott, Pajkik, Cunningham, tons of top level guys have problems with lesser fighters sometimes

No I am not. But I am almost sure you never watched the full fight, maybe you saw the highlights on youtube that was uploaded by a German fan of Huck to make him look good. Judging by your comments you don't seem to be the type of person who watches two European boxers fight each other, let's put it that way.

Fair. The ranking is defensible and that's the kind of criticism he deserves.

You didn't see his eye after the Duhaupas fight?

You didn't see Eric Molina rock him? Didn't know that Molina has been knocked out twice in round 1?

And what do you mean "except for Scoiners?" Scoiners is a career loser.

Wilder stuggles with ANYONE who comes to fight, regardless of how untalented.

Wilder at the moment is a top 10 guys, until he fights other top 5 guys I can't rate him up there..

    Fair enough.

He just hasn't really impressed me since Stiverne/Scott, which were definitely quality performances against good heavyweights. 2 soft touches and then a mighty struggle with a fringe contender? Oh well. He just seems clumsy and not particularly skilled. Again, he can catch anyone on a good night for sure, but it's not going to work every time.

    Fury.
    Fury.
    Klitschko.
    Parker.
    Martin.
    Granat.
    Helenius.
    Haye.
    Joshua.
    Ugonoh.
    Ortiz.
    Pulev.
    Teper.
    Miller.
    Jennings.
    Gjergjaj.
    Wythe.
    Bryan.
    Price.
    Dinu.
    Schwarz.
    Nofire.
    Wallin.
    Wallisch.
    Lewandowski.
    Cornish.
    Rill.
    Breazeale.
    Washington.
    Ustinov.
    Wach.
    Thompson.
    Browne.

These are all big guys I would favor against Wilder, and bet my money on to win. Sure some of these names are 50-50 matchups, but totally worth the money because of the high odds I would get.

Took away smaller guys with short reach like Povetkin, which some people tries to make a case for Wilder to win against.

But I feel he truly stands somewhere outside of the top 15.

If Wilder wasn't American people would view him as Glazkov or something like that. Let's be honest about this.

Until he loses, I think he's safely a top 5 just given the entire landscape. A fight against a better name sometime soon - win or lose - would move him accordingly.

Your first post was much better than this one. People get marked up in boxing, I could name tons of champs who were marked up by lesser opp while dominating the fight. Minor events that are glossed over in other fights are focused on in him. Hell, even a slip against Nichols is held against him. Wilder won every round against Duhaupas and Molina and stopped them before the bell, that doesn't count as "struggling". Or else virtually every champ has struggled with virtually every easy defense.

And off hand, Wlad's face was more marked up by Haye and VK's by Kevin Johnson, Lewis by Merkovic and Mercer, Holyfield kd'd by Bert Cooper, Bowe nearly ko'd by Hide, et al et al.
