BTW Khan does NOT have huge ballz. He is just looking for a big name and a big paycheck. He knew he'd lose to Floyd, he knew he'd lose to Pac, so now this is the next biggest name that he has a chance with. He's going to go down (intentionally or not) with the first shot that lands clean.

For boxing yes, for MW division irrelevant since its caneloweight and GGG is real champion at MW.

I'm sorry, but I have to ask you to go back and edit this by removing the extremely stupid stuff, staring with the 1st, BTW, and ending with the last, clean.
Great. Keep up the good posts. :good

True, I believe every canelo fight and every khan fight are a great event for boxing. But when putting them against each other it's facking huge.

It's not Canelo v fml, 2 unbeaten fighters. But it's the next best thing for fans. Both of these guys will leave everything in the ring. They both fight with their hearts on their sleeves.

This ppv will be massive, world wide, I'll be sacked in to buying it, and there's very few fights I can say that about..

This fight came out of nowhere and it's a massive treat. I did always feel like khan was too big for lww, a very good size ww. I don't think there's going to be much of a size difference. I truly believe khan will look the bigger man in there.

I'm really curious to see a khan that's in camp training the whole time on the fight itself and not having to worry about weight for a single day.

I don't know what could be better for the Middleweight division that a Light-Middleweight fighting a Welterweight for the title. Truly historic.

It's pretty obvious that Canelo wants nothing to do with them. This is just a money grab on his part because he's obviously not concerned with proving he's a real middleweight. Good for him. Cash out and not fight a middleweight even though he's the 'middleweight champion'. Reality of the sport. I have to commend Khan for his courage to take this challenge, but I don't think he's even fought at junior middle and he gets a shot at the middleweight title because the present champion is a greedy coward. Khan also doesn't even have strap at welter either, does he:lol:?

The best scenario is of course, two equally talented MW champions fighting for the rights to brag as the best.
Since we don't and won't have this because the MW division champions suck, this is definitely the best alternative option that came out of nowhere.
Even if the MW champions stepped up and fought one another I highly doubt that they would achieve anywhere near the excitement of this fight.

    Why?

Because of a very important often overlooked commodity in boxing, DUES. :yep

how is not defending the belt from the mandatory and fighting someone two classes below good for boxing? khan is not even a champion at welter.

How is Canelo ducking MWs when he's never competed at or fight vs a MW?

As I said before and will probably repeat again following this, boxing is not referred to as "Pleasing fan fighting", but Prize fighting.
The two are of course mutually exclusive.

If this bout between WWs for the WBC MW title offers a prize 10x greater than what is achievable by the real MW champions, then whose fault is that? :huh
Hint: There is a good reason why the WBC sanctions this fight. They also are intersted in the biggest prize, and the fact that the fight offers much more fan anticipation than for the actual MW fans is telling in itself.

Csnelo v GGG and Brook v Khan are both bigger and much more important fights.

Khan brings name recognition to this match but I don't think anyone seriously expects him to win. The most important factor in a fight is suspense - I want to actually have to think about who the winner will be. In this one, all I'm wondering is in what fashion Khan gets knocked out.

I don't even think excitement was the overriding emotion when this was announced - it was disbelief.
