GGG has been practically begging for a big money fight, so considering that he comes in lighter than Canelo on fight night, why didn't he accept the 155 challenge?

Now we have his die hard fanatics moping and crying that Canelo is ducking GGG...

Well the offer for GGG's biggest pay day was on the table, all he had to do was accept the 155 limit and he would be where the one man who did accept Amir Khan is today...

If anyone is to blame for the fight not being made it should be partially on Golovkin for also acting like a primadonna.

like I said....he said 154 for a ppv fight a little over a year ago"...ive never heard him say he couldn't do that anymore...unless I missed.....and no one in their right mind is going to argue canelo not being a big enough fight

the only logical thing I could think of that would even give ggg a shred of dignity left is that he thinks taking the 160 belt at anything less gives it less credibility????

but I don't believe that would actually be the case....him beatin canelo for it is just as good as him having it handed to him or beating someone like heiland or Johnson for it....actually way better

so I dunno what the problem is.....unless its still a possibility down the line? and ggg thinks hell still get this fight? but the way its looking is not good

he didn't even check canelo to see if canelo was bluffing at all

Because although he has no pull, he's sitting snugly in his comfort zone waiting for the easy ideal path to unification. Even an ounce of risk is unacceptable.
In K2's office there is a huge poster. "RISK IS FOR LOSERS".

Easy Diva mentality. He overvalues himself and so do his team and his fans anyone who does 97K in PPV buys shouldn't overvalue anything.:deal

By fighting Khan, Canelo is ducking ALL the middleweights, which I'm surprised to see because he has a good resume at 154.

I should clarify I'm a Golovkin fan. I have always rooted for him, even against Rubio who I followed since his days at Jr. MW, but all this crying about Canelo ducking yet GGG did not show much interest in fighting Canelo.

The only thing I can think of is that perhaps they have a deal behind closed doors where GGG and Canelo have agreed to fight in Sept or someime in 2017.

its not out of the realm......but I dunno...a lot can change or go wrong for something like that.....and with this khan fight canelo/gb are showing what they can do without ggg in the picture.....

Very true. Maybe GGG isn't as confident as his fans. :think

Because he's a coward and the only "big fight" he wants are against 40 year old welterweights.

the minute you start mentioning ggg having to lose a few extra lbs the bumluvscans fans starting getting upset..."why should he...he shouldn't have to"........I dunno man....you gotta chase the rabbit if you want the tail

ggg getting handed the wbc belt or fighting for it against heiland after its vacated does nothing for him....seems like a no brainer....but his fanboys get all upset "nooooo...he shouldn't have to"

    ROFLMAO!!
Gennady is a 160 pound World Middleweight Champion Right??

El Pollo Yellow Canelo CLAIMS to be the 160 pound Lineal World Middleweight Champion Right !??

So the more important question is Why wont El Pollo defend his title at 160 as it should be fought at??

Answer... El Pollo KNOWS Gennady would kick his ass. Even if Gennady agreed to 155 limit Oscar & his little red headed :patschclucker would come up with another excuse

The only Prima donnas here are El Pollo & Oscar Fishnets De laHoya :rofl:rofl

El Pollo Canelo and his fans aren't the ones crying for a big pay day fight are they??

El Pollo Canelo's resume ****s ALL over GGG's resume, is more proven, has more accolades, and has a WAY BIGGER fanbase.

El Pollo Canelo told GGG and everyone esle, if you want me to give you your BIGGEST payday come fight me at 155. Amir Khan JUMPED on the opportunity and now GGG sits on the sidelines watching as a spectator.

Why the the smaller GGG (according to GGG fans) ducked 155 to fight Canelo who is bigger than GGG (according to GGG fans) is beyond me...

I used to be big on GGG, when he came to L.A. I went to support him, and after the Rubio fight I thought he would make things happen considering he had all of L.A. and Mexicans chanting his name, but because it seems that he has been unwilling to remove himself from his comfort zone at 160, he seems to be losing many of these Mexican fans that once cheered him.

Bad bad business decisions by Mr. Golovkin. He has no one to blame for his lack of star power, and big money fights but himself.

Jeez you trolls get sillier... Everyone that knows boxing regard Gennady Golovkinas the REAL !! Middleweight Champion of the World!! No one accepted Pretty in Pink Cotto as the bonafide champion but when El Pollo beats him in a close fight you now claim El Pollo as your legitimate Champ ROFLMAO!!
Cant you see how ludicrous & hypocritical that is ??????
Grow a set El Pollo fight GGG at the proper weight or forever be known as !! Saul El Pollo Yellow Canelo Alvarez !! :good:hi:

Fine, GGG is the "REAL" MW champ. Canelo is the Cash Cow. Who cares about those silly belts when you're already an established name?

If GGG wants a fight he had it at 155. Belt or no belt.
