thats great then he misses the spoils of fighting someone as known as canelo then he cant complain when he never gets big fights....and hes fighting the likes of dominic wade.....even though we know we heard ggg say hed do 154 for big ppv fights i guess he meant only floyd...as if canelo isnt prob the next best thing ggg also has the right to have a garbage resume, a legacy which doesnt exist and to never be taken seriously
1. Canelo shouldn't be allowed to hold the lineal belt to ransom at 155. 2. They wouldn't have fought instead of Khan anyway. GG has a mandatory, and Oscar wants to delay the fight for as long as possible so he cash out on Canelo.
As I said, Canelo doesn't need GGG at all. GGG is the one who needs Canelo. Leverage will be used it's called capitalism. Get used to it. Don't be surprised if GGG is totally frozen out at the end of this, he better accept that catchweight or be on the outside looking in. That's the bottom line.
GGG gets his belt and moves on, oh well, Canelo is not ready to face the big boys at 160, he can fukk off back to 154. No big deal really.
moves on to what? billy joe saunders? lol niceeeeee!!! youd actually prefer that...as opposed to him fighting canelo...you guys are deathly afraid of him losing...i mean you all say hed smash canelo....so he should be able to drop a few extra lbs and still smash him...i mean he is a "small middleweight" isnt he? thats what you all said when he ducked ward
As much as I hate how unfair boxing the sport is, at the end of the day, boxing is a business first. GGG better start making better business decisions as he is already in his mid 30's.
Sure why not? Saunders, Lee, Jacobs, Eubank Jr, DeGale etc Canelo fukks off back to 154, sounds good to me.
so you want ggg to fight saunders and then a guy saunders beat? lol.....you really have high standards for this atg middleweight...lol.....never once being in the ring with an elite, a level, prime guy.....its kinda sad....
GGG may come in lighter than Canelo on fight night, but because of Canelo's youth, he can get away with it. I imagine GGG would find it difficult due to having not been that weight for years. How is it being a primadonna for GGG to want Canelo to defend the MW title at 160? Canelo asking GGG to fight at 155 for the 160 title is dangerous and a joke to the sport. The "A side", as everyone lamely calls it now, is pulling a massive ***** move by trying to get everything stacked in his favour. Mayweather received stick for years for doing this. Canelo deserves the same treatment. It sums up the state of boxing when the so called hardcore fans back the demands of a diva. Just look at the majority of the posts on this board; most people here claim to be boxing experts, but you rarely see a post critiquing the abilities of a fighter, an in depth pre/post fight ****ysis or a breakdown of a non Sky/HBO/Showtime prospect. Instead you get endless threads about PPV numbers, A-side/B-side tat and people applauding catchweights, If a fan new to the sport came on here, they would assume that most boxing fans are gay and no nothing about the sport.
Your elite a level prime guy is NOT ready to face GGG. It is quite clear by his actions. So my advice for him is to move back to 154 and get more ready and step up to the plate when he grows more *****. Meanwhile GGG can face the best available in his division and possibly 168. Sounds like a plan!
I don't see how basically staying at JMW is considered an insult, I think most would agree as far as comp Lara,Andrade,Charlo's,etc... Are better comp than Jacobs,Lemieux,Monroe etc...
ggg just isnt ready for primetime...the big lights ....its ok...some guys never get there talk about growing some bawlz? how come ggg wasnt ready go up and face ward? ohhhhh...thats right.....ggg doesnt have any.... hmmmm...wards going up....to with kova on the horizon.....canelo has a big ppv fight and ggg will be fighting wade canelo has no ***** ....but ggg does!!! i see... but oh...lemme guess....."canelo has the wbc mw belt tho"....suprise!
He's not a starving guy who just got laid off trying to stay off welfare. He's a multi millionaire. His finances are fine.
