Boxing is a ruthless business. Look at it from Oscar's perspective. They'll only negotiate with GG, when they have to. Oscar would prefer Canelo to have at least another 2 fights before then. They'll probably put a request in to push the mandatory date back, or have a non title bout etc. I wouldn't be shocked if we didn't see the fight until 2017.

There is no catchweight in a title fight, dipsh*t.
Read the WBC rules. There's no 90-10 split either.
There was no offer from Canelo. He DOES NOT want to fight his MIDDLEWEIGHT mandatory. Canelo CHOOSES to cherry pick a WW, despite weighing more than GGG on fight night.
