Post the IBF top 10 or 12 ... since they rarely rank 10 guys because they are such a bad organization ... and tell me right now WHO YOU WOULD PICK OVER JOSHUA.

Name one single guy in the IBF ratings you think would beat Anthony Joshua?

Who are these terrifying "world-level" IBF contenders that Joshua has no business in the ring against?

    It's nonsense.

If Joshua doesn't take this ... people will point to this moment for years to come. Because there is ZERO reason not to take it.

    ZERO.

The only guy is really Parker

And I think he may fight for the IBF Mando

I wish he would fight Martin for the actual crown

What have today's rankings got to do with what they'll look like when a cash-cow is the title-holder?

Haye, Fury, Klitschko, Povetkin, Ortiz and even Pulev - you don't think any of them will look at it as a big money fight? And do you think Joshua is ready to fight those guys yet? Because I don't.

Muhammad Ali didn't have 27 fights. He had 19 fights. And he just turned 22. And he was fighting freaking Sonny Liston.

And Mike Tyson was 20. Joe Louis was 22 and had already beaten four former heavyweight champions when he won the title.

How many defenses did those guys make?

So even before he has a belt, you're 'worried' about guys who aren't rated in the IBF and possible unifications?

Brilliant. Yes, unifications happen all the time at heavyweight.

I mean, how long has it been since someone held the WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles?

    How about NEVER. :lol::roll::patsch

If Joshua doesn't take the IBF title fight against Charles Martin ... Eddie Hearn is a coward, Joshua is a coward ... and they will regret their decision for the rest of their lives.

Whoever fights Martin next will be the new IBF heavyweight champion. And, trust me, the IBF champion won't have to unify all the titles anytime soon.

BECAUSE THEY HAVE NEVER ALL BEEN UNIFIED ... not since the existence of the WBO in 1989.

Joshua should just ask the IBF to make him lower down in the rankings...because if he says no to a chance to fight for the title as Martin obviously wants, he has no right being ranked that high. By saying no thanks, and if he doesn't fight Takam also next, he's basically saying I'm a PPV star and will enjoy my televised career and earn cash.

I wonder if the english public will continue paying for someone who would want to duck for cash?

The only guy I remember asking to be lowered in the rankings because he wasn't ready for a title shot was Greg Page ... who was lowered and subsequently lost a 10-round decision to Trevor Berbick.

Not a career anyone wants to emulate.

A whole lotta people on here writing off a guy they zero clue as to his true level. Just because he lucked out and Glazkov twisted his knee doesn't mean that he doesn't have the capability to be a player in the division, and it doesn't mean he's incapable of beating a top guy. Try waiting until you see him in with a top fighter and how well he does against them before beating the hell out of him and attempting to turn him into the next Wilder. Because in the end if you think he's a joke the joke may end up being on you.

Charles Martin will be a player in the heavyweight division until he steps in the ring to make his first title defense.

And then he'll be go back to being the player in the division he was before -- meaning you'll have to go on YouTube to see what he's up to.

Yeah, don't hold your breath. What was Charles Martin's best performance in your mind?

You know, the one that made you think he could beat Joshua?

Nobody should have a title without fighting true top contenders to get it.

I think Joshua beats Martin now, but Hearn clearly doesn't want to rush him and risk getting David Priced. Personally I think they should take the chance while they have it as we haven't seen anything from Martin to tell he's a bigger risk than contenders like Haye, Takam or Parker.
