He is fighting the lineal MW champ and you lot are moaning?

Remind me who Kell is fighting again?

Just goes to show who is all mouth and who isn't. Khan, once again, is showing he will walk the walk, whilst Kell is still yapping away like an idiot.

This is a brilliant plan, IMO.

    1) The Kell fight will always be there due to Kell being desperate for it and Eddie's business model relying on domestic dust-ups.

    2) It'd be beyond massive If Khan had the MW belts to add to the fight.

    3) Kell must face someone of note now or leave the country and relocate to the states.

Khan has just showed Eddie what a real PPV/Box office event is!

It's a shame we don't get Khan/Brook or Canelo/Golovkin, but GGG and Brook must face some serious opposition now. GGG has the excuse (fact) that NOBODY wants any part of him. Kell, on the other hand...

Make or break for Kell & Eddie now!

I think if anything this makes Khan look like he ducked brook even more. Fair play to him it's a tough fight but the fact is if he fought kell and lost there was virtually now way back. What he's done is found another mayweather fight. He can get big money and has a ready made excuse as Canelo will be so much bigger so even when he gets mullered the kell fight will still be there

I see your point, but blatant ducking would be facing a Paulie type.

He's gone from the frying pan into the fire, IMO.

Who will Kell chase now? :think:think

Khan deserves massive credit for this, fair play to him. Kid has ***** and it's good to see a fighter wanting to fight the best.

only retarted ****heads.... would think khan is fighting Canelo because he is scared of brook.... c'mon that isn't even funny.

I can only think of spiteful filthy racist ****bags.... saying khan is scared of brook so he's fighting canelo. Either that or someone who has taken too many blows to the head like some other yorkshire boxers

Khan is not scared of Brook. Come on now. Scared of the repercussions of losing? Perhaps.

Full respect t Khan for taking this, I don't like the fight as Khan gets taken out of there once Canelo lands, however people can say he isn't ducking Brook now but its been 2 years now that Brook has been chasing this fight and its only now that Khan is having a fight of real note, yes I am aware who Brook is fighting before someone comes back with that, this isn't a defence of Brook but I do feel this is clever business but just a case of doing anything not to face Brook and I personally cannot understand it as its very much a winnable fight for Khan.

Whether you like Khan or not, he moved from taking two tough Welterweight fights with Kell and Garcia, to an extremely hard challenge with the bigger man Canelo, two weight divisions up (155 limit). It's no mystery that he took the fight for the money, but he's going into a match that will see him face an opponent superior to him in every department, apart from speed.

This WILL be a really good fight.

No stick, khan has a lot of heart, always had. Even though he seems to be a bit of a knob.

I totally agree. Khan is a talented, yet flawed boxer and is a bit of an idiot, but his courage and willingness to fight the best should never be questioned. This ireally is the main thing that I want from a boxer.

the fact is Khan knows he could loose to Brook, if he does its game over for him... no way back...

if he loses to canelo, hes got a truck load of money, and he can still fight brook...

Because Khan's No.1 Rival is facing nobodies.

Khan is facing the third biggest name in the sport who happens to be the MW Champ.

    Who is Kell facing?

Is Kell really Amir's no.1 rival?? I personally don't think so, for Britain this is a massive fight but in the overall world welterweight seen it really isn't the case now is it.

    1. Danny Garcia is WBC champion and already holds a win over Amir, this being the case then i would fancy this as being Khan's main rival at welterweight tbh.

    2. Timothy Bradley whether he beats Pacman or not will probably be seen as the best welterweight in the world just due to his career to date and although it might not generate as much cash as Kell/Amir it would do more for Amir's CV.

    3. Keith Thurman is an undefeated just like Kell, holds a version of the world title and imo he would be another fight that would get Amir more recognition in the USA especially if he were to get the win.

I agree that Kell and Amir have a rivalry but i just think it is being over exaggerated by fans of both sides, do I want to see them fight? Yes Is it the most important fight for either? i would say no.
