....do you think the WBC would give Canelo and Floyd their blessing and make GGG wait longer?

Or do you think the WBC would strip Canelo if he faced Floyd and give the belt to GGG?

    Thoughts?

They might allow Canelo to keep it and they would make PBF-Canelo the Diamond or Platinum championship belt or something.:rofl:lol:

no brainer. the sanctioning fee for a canelo vs floyd fight would be substantially larger and ggg has a longer shelf life than floyd so he will still be around to make money for the wbc in the future. they would just say they are making another exception because floyd is a super duper emeritus platinum and diamond belt holder... or some other bs like that.

GGG would want the winner, and I think he'd be okay waiting for it. The more Canelo wins, the bigger it makes their fight. And obviously, Mayweather winning would put his name in the mix legitimately for once which would be great too.

My thoughts are .. Mayweather should not be allowed to come back He should not be allowed in boxing in any capacity again!! I know youll say Here he goes again but

Antonio Margarito was banned for two years by a State Commission on what??? A blatant lie from Nazim Richardson who claimed "PLASTER BLOCKS" fell from his wraps. No plaster was ever found only a used damp gauze pad. Antonio's career & his good name was tarnished by a LIE!!!!

Floyd Mayweather, on the other hand, was caught with an illegal IV in his arm in his own home. That's not a lie that's FACT !!!
What did the State Commission do in this case?? Allow Mayweather to submit a request for a TUE for the IV THREE DAMN WEEKS AFTER HE WAS CAUGHT. granted theTUE & made the statement " We will not be ivestigating this matter as Mr Mayweather did nothing wrong" ?? LOL REALLY!
I guess the NSAC accept " My urine was dark Very dark" as a worthy excuse for a TUE

And you say boxing is NOT CORRUPT !!!!!!!????????

If Khan makes it a fight and gives Canelo some problems then I think a Mayweather fight in the fall @ 155lbs is a very real and distinct possibility. Expect the WBC to fall in line if Mayweather makes any noises about returning...

C.J. your obsession with Mayweather and boxing corruption is unnecessary. The man who makes the most controls the sport. He could comeback and make anyone do what he wanted to do. Manny Pacquiao is begging for a rematch because of the money. GGG wants to go down to 150 if Floyd said so. Bob Arum is mad that he let Floyd go and make all that money with Oscar to this day.
Let it go C.J., LET IT GO.:hi:

If it were fmj, every org would die for that, too bad for most of you trolls. Fmj wouldn't EVER come back now for canelo.

Fmj is a 40 year old retired champ, seems most on here cannot move on from one I f the few true goats. Canelo would tear him to pieces right now.

Game, set and match. Fmj knows this sh!t, deep down here does. Ain't never admit it. Top much pride and way too much ego

So you think Canelo would beat Floyd were they to fight in September?

Did you miss their first fight?

    I was gonna say lol
The first fight wasn't even remotely competitive. What makes you think the rematch will? Although I admit Canelo has matured since their first fight but still, no point in a rematch really...

    No brainer.

Money (Floyd) talks, and BS walks (Golovkin).

The WBC is interested in the largest possible prize fight, not technicalities.

Mayweather would have to fight at 155 though, and I don't think he has ever fought that high in weight.
    Is this correct?
