What's the real reason Haymon wanted Special K to drop his belt?

Obvs the Canelo fight was pretty much made but Haymon still asked Eddie Hearn to get Brook to vacate the belt.

I believe Haymon wanted Errol Spence to win it without going through The Special One™. Haymon knows that being a Mayweather fighter Spence will have to rely on Performance Enchaining Drugs, however against Brook, he knew unless he put in his biggest ever purse bid, the fight takes place in the UK where Spence would be caught (same reason why Mayweather never fought in the UK) and exposed like Popeye without spinach.
